T'was a pleasure. And it certainly was comfortable... And a sh!thole. As much so my second time of attending as first. Three points wherever they come from thoughTonyDomingos wrote: ↑Sat Mar 05, 2022 7:29 pmComfortable win.
Never looked in doubt.
Gillingham is a sh!thole.
Great to see Pru & Darts again.

Re: Now Den: Millwall (a), 3pm Sat 12/08/17
Meet-up, time etc depends very much on just how frigged the transport system is, what with Waterloo meeting its reconstructive waterloo. In order to avoid that we'll be tiptoeing sideways across south London on abaht four different trains. Buying tix on the door so no idea where I'll be sitting. Wi...

Pay on the day confirmed, no price increase (£26 adults). Me and The Legendary Flanners are going - anyone else? https://www.bwfc.co.uk/news/2017/august/pay-on-the-day-confirmed-for-millwall/ I've secured shore leave, I'll be there. I won't be able to do a drink before but could join a post-match p...

Re: "It is not in the stars to hold our destiny but in ourselves" Bolton vs Posh 30th April
Slept for 12 hours and no hangover; what a weekend, what a game, what a club. Plenty time for worrying about next year. Ps. Karacan shinned it (but what a shin) and pitch invasions are ace, so there! No hangover? You git :) The less said about my journey home, involving my getting the wrong train -...

Travelling up at the weekend for this one. Gonna be a nervous wreck 'til 2pm Sunday. Take good luck up with you hey. I'd love to be going up for it but can't really justify the last-minute train costs. Now it's confirmed as being shown on Sky I think MegsEleven/OwensEleven and I are gonna line up a...

Re: Yellow Around The Gills - 14th March 7.45pm (A)
Well am I glad I went in the end! They were utterly pedestrian and our goals mostly looked rather easy, but deceptively so I think - there was plenty of skill involved in working them and steely determination in putting them in the back of the net. I'd presume they were perfectly aware of the Morais...

Shall I text the man from Enfield to tell him he'll be in that anti-Frenchie pub on his own then ? Hah! Me and Devon are in the Anti. Told by others that we couldn't go into the Rose (shirt colours or summink) Pretty sure I was one of many wearing colours last time I was there. Am wearing them toda...

The cats are scattering I'm a definite now. Pre & post pints in the RoD for me I think, avoiding the need to drink the piss on offer in the Antigallican See ya if I see ya. COYW!

Re: Mean time, in Greenwich. Charlton away thread. 27-Aug. 2
Happy to try Rose of Denmark, though expect it'll be a busier home fans affair? Antigallican ain't great but a pub is a pub is a pub  What kind of nonsense is this! :) I'm not 100% definite, & will probably only make the pub post-match, so you folks select wherever you'd like. RoD is away-fr...

Re: Mean time, in Greenwich. Charlton away thread. 27-Aug. 2
I'd recommend The Rose of Denmark over the Antigallican personally. Given the pubs' names, perhaps those who voted to remain in the EU should attend the Rose of Denmark, while Brexiters hit the Antigallican... Indeed! :) Works for me! (Coincidentally I recently looked at some Brexit voting stats by...

I'd recommend The Rose of Denmark over the Antigallican personally. 5 minutes up the main road from there. Better all round in my experience (certainly more chance of sitting down, though perhaps the Antigallican is empty with no season ticket holders around!)

Re: Mean time, in Greenwich. Charlton away thread. 27-Aug. 2
I'm a 'more likely than not' for attending so will keep my eyes peeled here for any pub arrangements (though I'll probably only be able to do post-match, I don't get my 'leave to attend' from family stuff 'til 2pm. It'll be interesting to see how many Charlton fans there are in attendance given thei...

Crikey. I finish work in E2 at 6pm. Could leave earlier and be there for that time though. Will see! Don't panic, unless there's compelling reason to do battle with the Antigallican's bogs we won't need to leave the Borough much before 7:00pm. I feel fortunate to have missed out. http://1.bp.blogsp...
