Re: Question about a fan takeover
Interesting and thoroughly depressing article here: http://www.insideworldfootball.com/matt-scott/18365-matt-scott-bolton-have-lost-their-power-it-won-t-be-long-before-the-lights-go-out" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; 'Might they have avoided relegation altogether without paying that...

Re: Question about a fan takeover
I wonder how ED will be remembered by the fans - the person (fan) who backed us through the best spell in recent times OR the person (fan) who pulled the plug, and sat back as we went down to League 1. He's put a lot of money into the club and allowed us fans to see players that we could have only ...

Re: Royals, my arse! - Reading (A) 21/11/15
^ I don't see how our present squad can get out of trouble. A team either needs a goalscorer or several players who can contribute to the overall goals total. I think we have neither. We need a couple of players who can both score goals. We ain't got the money and if we did, I'd doubt Lennons abili...

Re: Trevor Birch
As Bish points out he was appointed as administrator of Portsmouth by the courts. He wasn't anything to do with any failures there. Think that point needs emphasising. Aye fair enough.. My concern was that once they came out of administration they had ended up in league two without a pot to piss in...

Best of luck to him. And whatever anyone says he is a Wanderers fan and one of us.

Re: And in other news we're still fecked
With the debt-smell lingering, if he is truly happy to sell for £30m I wonder whether it would be better PR etc to just write off the debt as per Fernandes, and stick the club back on eBay/Craigslist/lampposts with a new pricetag. (Unless of course there's some tax-type reason he doesn't want to do...

Even if that is the case this is borderline cruel and unnecessary punishment! On present form you could make an argument for neglect!

The act that NL is trying to bring 2 pacey wide men in, would suggest that he's aware of our failings. If he can't land one or both, it says much about his falling status IMO. ? Hey lad come and play for me - we've no cash to speak of, the owner wants to sell the club but can't get even get an offe...

On our present conversion rate that would require us to create approx 78 chances 23 on target..

...and of course the Bayern bigwigs would love to adopt the English model. Or better yet the Spanish model, without all that collective-bargaining-for-TV-deals stuff... That's probably true, but they continue to be the best run outfit within the current German system and don't show any sign of suff...

Re: Question about a fan takeover
The German model for running football clubs is so much better than here, but it's too difficult now to change to this model without major changes to the club and/or the leagues. Their ticket prices and treatment of fans are way superior, mind you there's not much jeopardy in the title race in recen...

I'd argue four of the five are goalkeeping errors I'd argue if you look up Felgate on dictionary.com it says Goalkeeping error. Now, Norm.
