Welcome to TW lofty, from another stranded Wanderer. Can't believe I missed Bruno! Typical of the man to keep his presence quiet.

At least it doesn't take long to get home after losing away to 10 men Charlton.. I'm struggling for positives right now :)

Sorry but only word to sum up the clique that ruined BWFC4U, and stops good discussion on here. If you are in the clique, you can post anything non BWFC related. however, if your not, and you post something that is marginal, forget it. 2 rules SH take it easy, you posted a thread about Roy Keane on...

Wow, what's with all the Russianists? :) I studied it to A-Level, then did a year of History and Russian at degree level before bailing it for pure History. Those 9am advanced grammar seminars just weren't compatible with me.

The only 'propaganda bullshit' here is that none of this was properly reported in the first place.

And what about the 10 other signings where this sole statistic is more representative of a club's investment in a player? Is there a better simple way of measuring a club's spending record than transfer fees paid? I doubt with even the most complex formula that incorporates any number of factors, th...

No, you're not wrong if you've already put the original bet on! Misunderstood your question. You're sitting pretty and have an opportunity to trade :) You've put £5 on Woods to win at 6 and he wins for a profit of £25 You put £15 on Woods to lose now at 1.81 and he wins, meaning you lose £12.15 Tota...

I don't understand why people are making such a massive deal of it. Obviously, he's broken the law, but it's not as if cocaine is performance enhancing. I think the ban is a fair punishment. People seem to react to drug stories with irrational knee-jerk emotion. Quite interesting. I agree Lennon. H...

hehe, Haysbert certainly has gravitas you can't deny that.

F E Smith certainly sounds a like character to add to my reading list.

I will go for Dziga Vertov, Russian avant garde director, visionary and film pioneer.

That's quite a fair run down of the history Sluffy. You did miss out the terrorist campaign waged by the Israeli Irgun against the British however. The Israelis unsurprisingly see them in different terms. http://www.timesonline.co.uk/article/0,,3-2277717,00.html may be of interest. Obviously both si...
