Re: The Macron Stadium

Yes sad to see the 3 stripes go (takes me back to my casuals days!). Not convinced about the quality though - the tracksuit that my lad sports could be any old blue adidas trackie with a fabric badge sewn on, rather than a nice embroidered effort - it had a short term/ temporary look to it from the ...

Me too. Any one any idea as to whether tickets available on the gate? Just tried to buy & print online, but can only pick up @ Bolton Central which is a bit of a ball ache.

Re: Giant Killing on the Cards? (Cardiff Thread)

First time for a while for me & the lad - fortunately with waterproofs but not with thermals. Thoroughly uninspiring throughout. One of the things I've shared with him (to soften the blow of our demise of our relegation from the Premiership) was how great it was to take on the "bigger teams" in the ...

Additional kiss of death - Lawro has tipped us for a cup shock
Strangely - I miss the days of his pointless ramblings that used to involve us - won't get them regularly now for quite a while now I guess.

Re: (QP)R We Gonna Pick Up Our First Win Of The Season?

Having fought off a number of wannabe Arsenal fans for tv rights in a bar in Turkey with the promise that this'd be a better game of football, I'm a tad disappointed. However faith springs eternal COYWM! Also agree that's the best position for Ream - it worked for Ivan.

Re: Blackpool ... Donkeys or Towering ?

Just back. Couldn't face the lap/walk of honour/thanks, as was emotionally wasted. Blackpool - both fans & players up for it, was naive to assume otherwise - we were very nervous at the outset & paid the price. Grew into the game though and of course by 1/2 time all good - a shame the whistle had to...

..so as no-one else has; next home game;

Just got round to buying tickets for this one - thoroughly underwhelmed at the prospect (what ever happened to local derbies over the holiday period?), especially now after Saturday's capitulation.

Re: Biggest game of the season - Brighton @ Home

First game in a while for me, and I'm travelling 4000 miles just to see it ( well perhaps for some other stuff too ). I reckon 2-1, with Stu Holden coming off the bench and scoring the match winner... Welcome back to the UK SW. How long since your last win? ..and more importantly, why no picture of...
