Re: What's Ste Evan's Age? 61, I think. Stevenage away. 29/03/2024 - 3pm

I don’t think who comes in is for now. Evatt gets the play offs to achieve the aim. If he fails, it’s a fair discussion - who would have got this squad promoted? And, are they available / should we be looking? I like watching us when it’s good under Evatt - he’s been a good manager. This season will...

Santos is extremely lucky not to be getting serious pelters tonight. Captain material?

He’ll get questions at the end of the season. If we don’t go up - what will he do differently? If he says “nothing, just do plan A better” I’d sack him if it were my money.

I tell you what as well - the other 3 play off sides will want to play us. Bang average, not willing to roll our sleeves up. If we can get to Wembley the pitch might suit us, that’s the best hope I have!

JDC looks like a lower league wingback for me. When it’s a position we need to be high quality he often looks bang average.

Re: What's Ste Evan's Age? 61, I think. Stevenage away. 29/03/2024 - 3pm

Ian can answer questions at the end of the season if he fails in his objective to get promotion. It’s not good enough with this squad of players - why were the wingbacks not changed? Both were ineffective and he had options that he has signed on the bench. Kyle Dempsey? Aaron Morley? Pointless. Bett...

And that’s why I didn’t celebrate northamptons win last weekend. It’s over folks.

Summat off now with Charles - trained with Northern Ireland. Baxter, think they have just been hoping, and he’s out for the season. Either way, doesn’t look good. Need a 1-0 here, can’t see us scoring more than 1. It is strange. Plenty of concerning thoughts on the matter. Is it a repeat of his tim...

To be fair if Sheehan is Ampadus understudy he’s not going to get much of a look in.

Re: The Nostradamus file....

I think Iredale coming in would make more sense - he offers a bit of leadership and a will to win, Toal is better on the right anyway.

Re: Not exactly a Derby. Away to The Rams, Sat 16th March 3-0'clock.

Derby had 3 injuries during the game on Saturday alone - I think if that had happened to us it would have joined our list of excuses for not winning. They just got on with it.

Re: Dem Bones, Dem Bones, Dem Bare Bones....

Ramsay cost Liverpool £6million quid… the only game I’ve seen him in he looked like an attacking rwb, was bemoaning him not being on the bench as an option, then I got bored. I don’t think he is injured.

Re: Dem Bones, Dem Bones, Dem Bare Bones....

So a nice break now to get some of the injured back… noticeable lack of Baxter updates which isn’t good…Charles, feck knows - if he steps out for Northern Ireland that will be puzzling. What about the longer term - Nlundulu /Johnston? And finally…Calvin Ramsay…. Send a search party out?

I still maintain I wouldn’t pay to watch derby fwiw…but I’d rather have the 3 points. Warne quite respectful to us - suspect he thinks there’s a chance we could be his next job when he’s sacked next season! Fingers crossed we can get up in the play offs…

Re: Not exactly a Derby. Away to The Rams, Sat 16th March 3-0'clock.

Yeah once we went behind there was no chance we would equalise - not even a sniff where we created a scramble or a moment of panic. We had a couple of corners, long throws and it’s then you need your man mountain captain to do what he never does - fight to get on the end of one and cause some panic....

Be nice if our captain made his stature count on set pieces at the other end as well.
