Re: Gary Cahill, Bad News...

But it wasn't a deflection. He played it. He was trying to stick it out for a corner. Whether or not he fecked it up or was fouled, it wasn't a 'deflection'.

Re: Wanderers v Liverpool

I would add that just recently all I notice is how much our opposition is rolling around. Then you watch a non-Bolton game and realise it's not that they are rolling around, it's that WE aren't. I'm all for footballing honesty, but at times, we're getting mugged because we aren't willing to try and...

Rovers and another unnamed Premiership club. Couldn't possibly imagine who they might be! Plenty of ideas Boleyn around my mind though.

Re: Bare Bones

Just not good enough. First choice left back and our most expensive LB ahead of him, plus Ricketts and Gardner can play there.

Re: Wanderers v Liverpool

As for the offside, the whistle should have gone when the cross went in. The linesman had no idea it wasn't intended for Cole in the first place, so the whistle should go immediately. Cole is offside when the ball comes in, dragging our defender towards him, he's intefering with play and then score...

Re: Wanderers v Liverpool

Games like this make me wonder why I bother caring about Football. Offside goal* - Check Handball, penalty turned down - Check Torres hand to Cahill face, no booking - Check Torres kicks ball away in anger, no booking - Check Goal scored by player who shouldn't be on the pitch - Check When the odds...

Re: Gary Cahill, Bad News...

Dad said that, first one not his fault. Brilliant brilliant ball and decent movement. If we are picking faults it has to be with Ricketts but I even think that would be harsh. Cahill can't go any further back or there is a massive gap between him and Knight for Torres to wander into. Made it difficu...

Yet again with the press we come to the question of the PCC. Remember the bankers? Remember how self regulation was for the wanker bankers. Guess how the press is run? Cases like this, seriously, how do you find an impartial jury?

N'Zogbia is a brilliant footballer, and an utter div. He'd walk into our team, but possibly destroy the spirit that has us where we are. You watch him for Wigan and he is clearly frustrated, and openly so, about by how far he is their best player.

Re: Wanderers v Liverpool

I felt so totally miserable watching the Wolves match, I started to really not care if we won or lost. I know it's a bad attitude, but when you are watching millionaire footballers who couldn't create a decent passage of play and a goalscoring opportunity in ninety minutes if their life depended up...

Re: The Trotters vs Mighty Russian Empire (Chelski away)

Here's what pisses me off about the Terry handball: he does it all the time. Now officials obvious compare notes and have decided that Davies backs in too much, Diouf goes down too easily, etc. so why haven't they similarly conspired to award handballs against Terry? They have, and decided that for...
