Re: Yeovil listen carefully. I shall say this only once
Well, first & foremost ... albeit against no strikers worth mentioning .... Ream looked positively good. Hall was excellent throughout. MoM for me. Feeney, whilst a little basic, got more crosses over in 20 minutes than I've seen in whole games very often. Mills looked OK too. =====================...

Re: Blackpool v Bolton Wanderers
Bring back the thread titles - they're the only fun we've had this season!
Time to rock Blackpool?
We'll fight them on the beaches?
The future's bright...
Gah. Perhaps you're right.
Shoulda won today - now we must win on Tuesday. No confidence that we will, mind you. 1-1, with them scoring late.

Re: Vote Lofthouse as the Football League's greatest captain
Nat's in the top 5 so people need to get voting to make him number 1. Indeed he has - thanks everyone. The case for Nat is also being made by Guardian journalist Scott Murray, who describes Lofthouse as "the greatest one-club striker ever". To read his nomination in full, and help make Nat the Foot...

Re: Stu Holden was fantastic tonight for the U.S
For some reason I think we may have seen the last of him in a Wanderers shirt. Gutted :( No Holden back? Probably not the time for puns. I agree. Long long way back from here. But who knows. He's the kind of guy who seems capable of doing the work, looking on the bright side. Mind you, it takes a b...

Re: Stu Holden was fantastic tonight for the U.S
18 mins Holden goes down with what looks like his right knee jarring. 21 mins and he's off. From the shots I saw, there was no major contact. He was lying on his back, looking distraught, with his head against the turf, as he got treatment. Stood up to sit on the bench after being replaced, but he d...

Re: Blackpool ... Donkeys or Towering ?
So, I'd be starting: Bogdan Ricketts Ream Knight Alonso Medo Eagles Pratley Vela Lee C. Davies I know, I know. Ream. But he's fully fit, and even put in a few decent performances towards the end of his last stint. Anyway, it's my team, not yours, so shut it! I'd be sorely tempted to lose Vela, have...
