Re: The only way is up!!! Down the Southend of things.

Baptise and Kioso on the right are a handful for any side in this Division. Not the same threat on the left. Tutte going off disrupted us with White playing without confidence going sideways and backwards. He improved later in the game playing more forward passes which was good. If Gilks was in the ...

I mean... <sigh>
Comley's instinct is to always go backwards. Why? Here he goes backwards into two Newcastle players instead of taking Crellins throw and going forward into open space. Old habits die hard.

Re: Sal-Destroying. Home. Friday 13th. 7:45. On the tele.

We looked a decent team. No Evatt ball from the back. Gilks an old fashioned keeper who drops it and boots it long. No risk taking rolling it to a defender to start things. Is Evatt finally adjusting to getting results over style? Sarc was brilliant..MOM for me. All over the pitch, could have had tw...

Re: Summer 2020 transfers

Something went terribly wrong in January's recruiting. Hill no longer was able to get the players he wanted as he did in the Summer. Other forces took over. The team then went into freefall. Faal, when I first saw him I thought to myself, this young man is way out of his depth in L1. A very bad sign...

Re: I don't think I like Ian Evatt much, but this is why I think he will succeed here.

Running off his mouth again blaming everyone and anything he can think of, and reiterating how great he is. Can we have a Manager who actually can comes up with tactics to beat the other team, and if not successful, can point to the on-field reason why the team played badly rather than the players l...

I have no idea what to expect in this one. Don't think the players know either what Evatt will want them to do this time. We are all confused, from top to bottom in our club at the moment. How can we win without forwards and a Goalkeeper? Your guess is as good as mine.

Re: We three kings of Orient (A)re. Saturday 31 @ 15:00

I saw no positives. Santos, Darcy and Captain Sarc probably the "best" of a very bad bunch. I really dont know what to say. We were very poor. Have to find out from Evatt what's going on. We seem to have made progress, only for the next game to be even worse than our previous worse. Didn't like how ...

Disgraceful performance from a lethargic team lacking quality.

We have a lot of defensive options to rotate, but I for one don't like to change a solid defense which works. Lets see what Evatt does.

Re: Man up if you wanna go up. Bradford City (H). EFL League 2. 7pm KO

Massive win. We fought and that's the big difference for me. We seemed willing to run through walls to get those 3 pts. The team is more balanced with each player bringing something different. Batiste, Santos and Dulaney were rocks. Kieso has transformed our team into an attacking threat. Brocky a n...

Re: Cam v Croal a Punting Challenge: League 2, Cambridge v Bolton (A) Saturday October 24 14:00

The youngster Crellin started off fine to me. He made several excellent saves in earlier games but the goals kept flying in due to poor defensive performances. Some criticized him for not saving them. He had to be superman as far as I was concerned to save some of them. The pressure mounted on the d...

Re: Cam v Croal a Punting Challenge: League 2, Cambridge v Bolton (A) Saturday October 24 14:00

Much much better. We looked like a good team today and never dropped our heads when Crellin messed up, and boy did he. That was basic catch the ball stuff. What was he thinking? Anyway, won't let that take away from the performance. Brocky I thought did great. Always running, positive, looking to at...

Of the teams (4) that have worse goals conceded than us, 2 of them are only worse because they got tanked 5-0 by Cambridge.

This could be very, very ugly.
And we know how good our defense is. Ominous.

Re: A Barrow load of trouble. Barrow (A) League 2. 20/10/20 KO 7pm

Not watching but reading commentary.. I ask, why is a right footed Centre Back playing left back with our two left backs on the bench? Just to make sure Evatt's mate Baptiste get a game?

Evatt has lost the plot, lost the players and now lost the fans. Get rid of now. This is too much to bear.

Re: Oldham or fold em, but no full house in sight..

I somehow do not believe this "Training like Real Madrid" thing. Unless the people who make the video training clip turn up late and miss those Real Madrid highlights I see nothing like that. In fact, when I watched the Thursday clip I saw some players miscontrolling simple balls bouncing a yard off...

I agree Ghost that we have a D4 squad. From the looks of things I Don't know if our Manager is capable of even getting us to mid table. A good manager could get us top 6 with this squad.

Re: Oldham or fold em, but no full house in sight..

Indeed Bertie. We dont win games on the training pitch, its what happens in the match. Darcy must be very poor on the training ground. He never gets pick. But we know the heart he has. Much more desire that what I see now every week. Match conditions are very different from the training ground. Nobo...

Re: Summer 2020 transfers

He looks like in a better team he’d be ok. Our only outlet at times. Only one who can win a header. But ultimately suffers from an inability to cross the ball. Which means unless he’s in behind he’s cutting back in and slowing the game down. That's where are right now. We have a few who look like t...

Re: Oldham or fold em, but no full house in sight..

We have been found out by all the teams. They will press us high because they know we don't have the ability to play the way the coach is coaching us to play. Press and we will lose the ball. If we dont lose it, we will play safe without any penetration as we have no #9 to hold the ball up as an out...
