Re: Bolton vs Crystal Palace
one more thing. why doesn't Petrov EVER take a touch, drop his shoulder and go past someone? isn't that sort of in the job description for a winger? he reminds me of that poor mans subbuteo game when i was a kid (Striker?). push the head down and kick it . he's got dream of a left peg but he crosses ...

Re: Bolton vs Crystal Palace
I thought the atmosphere was ok until we went behind.
didn't have that "peering at the game nervously through fingers" type of feel to it that EVERY game last season had.
as i say i quite enjoyed it apart from the getting beat part.
first time in the Fanzone as well- nipper enjoyed that.

Re: Bolton vs Crystal Palace
first match of the season for me yesterday.
quite enjoyed it
we could/should have won.
when Eagles isnt on a going day (yesterday)it seems we lack creativity.
Andrews Spearing look solid. Knight looked heavier (as did one or two others) than he did last year.
Warnock looks a decent acquisition.

Re: Hillsborough Disaster
They've released all the evidence. There has been a systemic and massive cover up of shocking proportions. I think we should be focussing on how many other massive cover ups our establishment has presided over. Truly shocking. It makes me wonder though what the point of all this was, if some as dem...

Re: Salt in the wounds.
Much to blame OC for. Selling AAH is near the bottom of the list. So is promoting a promising young goalkeeper for an ageing and increasingly unpopular goalkeeper. Can I imagine Jussi being flattened by Walters? Yes, very easily. Like I say, there's a hundred things to more legitimately blame the m...

Re: 'Ull V Bolton
there is something in this lack of desire stuff though. this is barring K Davies and Zat Knight a completely transformed team since THAT day at Wembley. it is Coyle's team -and putting to one side all the juvenile shite about formations, set piece preparation and all of the fog and mirrors that spew...

Bogdan/Lonergan
Riley Ream Knight Ricketts Alonso
CYL Andrews Eagles
Petrov K Davies

Re: 'Ull V Bolton
see here's the problem.
if Afobe isnt fit and NGog not to be risked/not ready.
and Sordell/Davies not suited to playing as lone striker- where are the goals going to come from if we DON'T play 4-4-2?
are we good enough defensively to spozz a 0-0 by playing 5 in midfield?
do we want to?

Re: owen out 2012/2013
Alan Thompson gained valuable experience under Lennon at Celtic? He is an absolute piss pot. Trust me on this. Seriously. He has way too many issues. what about yon man Lennon himself then? maybe not now but after Celtic get shagged a few times in the Chumps he might realise he's taken them as far ...

They'll tear us to smithereens. It's pointless even discussing it further. wow, ive never seen smithereens written down in word form before! oh yes you have! (by the same author!) 8) on weds Oct 26th 2011, in the Official Xbox 360 Thread Unless they include checkpoints like they did in Gay Tony, I'...

Re: Crawley Town / Wanderers Match Thread
Ugh. Firstly it was a pleasure to meet those kings of the airwaves Chris and Geoff, as well as DSB. Hopefully some TW hellos around the south east will become a regular occurrence. Vela's injury was a shame. I think he was set to be the defensive-minded midfielder, and his substitution saw Andrews ...

Re: Is anybody not convinced yet
did we have another midfielder to put on? was M. Davies visibly tiring? Vela went off injured early doors, am i right? Was the ball coming staright back at us and it looked like Sordell needed some help holding it up? were we comfortable playing 4-5-1? how were individuals playing at the time of the...

Re: Jaffka's gossip thread on the ins and outs at the 'Bok
If folk didn't want to take £6m for Mark Davies then Chungy is worth pretty much half of South America. As territory. Minerals and all. Not a fecking chance we can get better, so if we don't need to sell, and he isn't kicking off, go get f*cked. Especially to those cnuts. bang on. cant believe that...

Re: Matt Mills
I'm guessing theres more to the Steinsson situation meets the eye. Added to which, I'm guessing the make-weight in a £3m deal that included Eagles is not going to be on the salary of a £3.5m fullback. Or, sadly, the quality. I'm also guessing that Steiner is probably earning more in Turkey than we ...

and whats with this "Captain Clueless" bandwagon?
whoever came up with it first - fair do's- the rest of you try finding your own forms of expression.
