Cheers for that, just checked, it's only a mile shorter distance according to the AA route planner but nearly double the price of Prem Inn.

Hotel near Atherton needed

Hi people, looking for a stop over 1 night hotel to visit a mate in Atherton. Nearest I can find on websites is Premier Inn near the stadium for reasonable money, any other ideas?

Back on topic..Panic over, appointment made, trip to Peterborough where the passport was waiting for collection. Now for a nice trip round Englands largest car park the M25 on a Friday morning during rush hour.

They left it til 3rd July to renew a passport needed for a holiday on 20th July ? :shock: My thoughts exactly. Well as the poster said - mistake made.... TBH - 17 days to go, you'd have used one of the Fast Track services surely? :-) Yes fast track was used with a promise of a two week turn round. ...

They left it til 3rd July to renew a passport needed for a holiday on 20th July ? :shock: Mistake made as the boy is only 5, everyone else's passport OK, his doesn't have the stipulated 6 months left to run. But 13 days to return a replacement is not rocket science, he has not changed date of birth...

My daughter-in-law posted of my grandson's passport for renewal on the 3rd of July tracked, received on the 5th, still not got the thing back, so many phone calls to people who are unhelpful..transfer to another department..transfer yet again. Trying to make pick up appointment in London but must go...
