Paid £95 in Afflecks for a pair of pants with absolutely gigantic baggy bottoms on them in my uni days, they even had UV bits on them as well. Only wore them once, they weighed a ton. what the hell was that all about?! Should stick them on ebay or something and try to get a bit of money back on them...

I believe the Council is spending millions on doing the place up, renovating an old bridge and opening a new cafe in there. Still won't make me want to visit, horrible place.

Ah quality, I thought the previous couple of seasons seemed to go off the boil just slightly but series 7 looks like it's back to being as good as it ever was - Larry saying he preferred robbers to neighbours because robbers only steal things but neighbours steal your time - absolutely brilliant

After Bruno talking about Curb in the Everton match thread, it's reminded me that a viewing of "The Group" from series 1 is long overdue.

Walsh trainers are available on the Sole Food website - I've not had chance to go into the actual shop in town yet, looks like they sell some pretty good stuff though

1. Wanderers
2. England (football)
3. Hertha BSC (oh what a season they're having)
4. Newcastle when Shearer was playing (as I run for cover from the imminent abuse!)

Point taken, DSB, though I was referring more to how FIFA and UEFA awards hosting rights for competitions to places seemingly without taking much notice of their record of dealing with trouble at their domestic matches - but I admit I was talking more about events of recent years rather than conside...

Horrible and embarrassing scenes last night, and accompanied this morning by pretty depressing reporting by our hyperactive media. Apologies for veering slightly off-topic here; but this morning I watched Sky News who had a tabloid newspaper's chief football reporter in to comment on the trouble and...

I follow Hertha Berlin's results and have been to see them a couple of times; great atmosphere even in a sometimes sparsely populated stadium, especially when the team comes out to "Nur Nach Hause"! I just wish the people I spoke to there liked Fredi Bobic as much as I do, they didn't sound too fond...
