Re: Tweets Near Me for iPhone & iPad owners
I released my first app to the App Store a couple of weeks back if you want to check it out? It's called Tweets Near Me and does pretty much what it says, displays recent geo-tagged Tweets near you on a Google map based on your GPS location. Hopefully the mods don't mind this post, I don't mean it ...

Re: Tweets Near Me for iPhone & iPad owners
I've found it's hit and miss, on average I'd say around 10-15 out of every 100 tweets is geo-tagged from my experience. Sometimes though there could be none, others more.
I've submitted an update today that should increase the number of geo-tagged tweets you see.

I downloaded it, and it searched for local tweets.. Thought it was odd that it only showed 5 or 6 in a 10 mile radius. Did a search on my twitter app for local tweets in my location and it came up with feckin' loads. It's got the potential to be a decent app though. The app only displays geo-tagged...

Re: Tweets Near Me for iPhone & iPad owners
thanks that's useful feedback, I'll have a look into it...it can sometimes depend on your internet connection, are you using wifi or 3G, or other?

Re: Sixty years of Bolton management.
good read that, some good history about the club
were Roy MacFarland and Colin Todd not joint managers until MacFarland departed, i was only young but that's my memory...anyway not really important but it would mean Todd started as manager in 1995 at same time as MacFarland

To be honest I'm buzzin, not about today but about this season...I didn't expect us to perform today with nothing to play for but how far we've come as a club since coyle came in is good, next season will be the proof of coyles talents but I'm optimistic. Roll on the away day at the seaside next week...

i played with Tony Kelly and against Scott Green at that Football Aid last year, Green was pretty good...Kelly still took the piss with his passing, I like to think me and him linked up well in midfield
