Re: Blackpool ... Donkeys or Towering ?
Changing the subject slightly - are we expecting a big attendance on Saturday?
A mate of mine and his lad wanted to get seats near me in North Lower - all sold out. There are some left in top tier.
Will Blackpool bring many? they haven't got much to play for

Re: season ticket prices 2013/2014
I'm happy to pay the increase via DD scheme. The club say Juniors will only pay a £5 increase on last year. Well my lad has been buying a U16's season ticket at £49 for a number of years. This group has disappeared for next season so now he has to pay £70. That's £21 increase !!! Have I missed somet...

Huddersfield Away
Booked my tickets yesterday and told that it is unreserved seating for the game. I was led to believe we hadn't sold that many, hence probably why unreserved(sit where you like pal!!!). After last night's improved performance we will surely take a few more. If Huddersfield would have priced the game...

Re: Are you happy with the new appointment?
I'm sorry I am not impressed with the appointment. Listening to the commentary on tonights match at Wolves we battered Wolves(especially in the second half) and I was impressed with the positional changes made by Philips et al (SKD at centre half,Ream at left back) allowing a more attacking formatio...

Re: Now he's gone, who's next?
NO no no - not Freedman. What has he achieved? IMO let's give Jimmy Julian and Sammy a crack of the whip for the next 5-6 games. Apart from a brave comeback it was nice to see a change (for the better) in the pre match warm up and there was no larking about from the players. It is clear Sammy is ver...

It doesn't say that on the websiteboltonboris wrote:I take it it's kids for a quid with an adult accompanying them?
Otherwise, it'll put people off. The younger generation of our fan base are mostly whoppers.

Well it's a big ground to fill. Fair play to Wednesday - kids for a quid - one way of bringing them in - only to watch Coyle's last game as manager...!!!!

Re: The Season Starts on Saturday.
I want us to win, I always do. However, Coyle is out of chances for me. There is something bigger wrong than just tactics, or a naive manager, and I honestly think we will just decline as a club in general until he goes. The odd win or good run here or there, for me just paper over the cracks. I do...

I know its very early to be discussing this game but just to let you know what I was told by the ticket office when purchasing my 3 tickets a few minutes ago. Allocation - 3,000 sold to date - 500 Open sale on Wednesday I think the performance on Saturday v Watford will determine if we will get anyw...

Re: a winger called chris eagles
what do we all think then, i have stuck by this lad when many fans quite a few on this site have said that he is not good enough and moaned about him constantly but i have always thought he was one of our best players and actually a good owen coyle signing(wow such thing actually exists). so he is ...

Re: If I were Owen Coyle..
I'd have probably resigned at the end of last season, blamed Muamba/injuries and taken a year out. I do think if he had them all in working on some defensive organisation or a plan to be whoever the feck we're playing next, that would be more productive than going all Mike Bassett on them. To be fa...

Fair dinkum. Gonna book mine on Friday. Don't think I've been on proper terraces since Stockport County were in the division one. A 0-0 I seem to remember, shocking apart from Claus Jensen hitting the bar with a free kick. Lovely stuff. Macclesfield away in the FA Cup last season - we were in an op...

Re: Bolton v Forest thread
Cost-cutting? Making it harder to buy merchandise and get into the ground is really going to save money. Genius! The match day programme - another cost cutting exercise. The have reduced the size by 20% but still charging £3.00. Cheaper paper and smaller print (too small for my eyes). Must remember...

I too am coming to the end of my tether regards OC.
Let's give him the next two home games next week with 6 points the minimum return.
Anything less then he should go.

Re: Top Goal Scorer this season
This is a man who up until now has scored five league goals in his life, and none at all in the Championship. 100/1 is probably about right. I would fancy Sordell to be up there though.. I have taken the gamble based on my hope that Bolton win promotion. If this happens you can assume Bolton will h...
