Re: Bolton vs York City
So what kind of team can we cobble together for this? The strength in depth just isn't there to make wholesale changes, so it might be a more familiar line up than Coyle would like to send out: -------------Bogdan---------- Ricketts Cahill Knight Alonso Rodrigo Davies Muamba Petrov ---------Klasnic...

Re: Wanderers v Liverpool
Heartache again :hang: More indigestion. We seem to be a springboard for failed big guns form recovery right now, but every team isn't Chelsea or Liverpool. We'll come good again. I suppose it isn't so bad bad when your beating the teams in and around you. Oh wait Liverpool are one of those teams.

No I am saying "If n'Zogbia and Al Habsi definitely can't play and Holden and Robinson back I think we can beat them but hey I have been wrong before."

Re: January transfer window...
Anyone know if there is any cash for us or has he been given away? I would be surprized if it wasn't a free transfer. It would allow AOB to get good wages at Leeds and free up his wages for us to sign C.Davies or Wheater , both young centre backs as his replacement, and to understudy Cahill before ...

Re: Wanderers v Liverpool
I have a feeling we will concede again so that mean's we will have to score at least 2 to win. I'm not sure we have it in us with the amount of fixtures we've played recently .
But I would "LOVE IT" if we beat them .

Re: Al-Habsi to leave
Didn't think much of AL Habsi but seen him the other day against Wolves and he practically won them the game. So, let me get this right. You didn't think much of him from the games in which he contributed significantly to our staying up, but have altered that opinion by dint of him playing well for...

Re: The Trotters vs Mighty Russian Empire (Chelski away)
Is it just me or do all of us get frustrated when we come up against the BIG teams that are on a bad run of form and still manage to beat us? That's Liverpool and Chelsea now. We have taken a point from the Manc game and none from Chelsea, Liverpool, City, Arsenal. Ok we beat spurs convincingly, tha...

From Manchester Aiport, get the Blackpool North train to Horwich Parkway and you're 'home'
Hope I can get cheap flights.

Re: Trip to a match
I was thinking this but would it be to Manc first and then train/bus to Bolton??East Lower wrote:You could swim, or Ryanair it, or get the ferry. Your pick.
Bolton is easy to get to - you could walk, bus, train, horse-drawn carriage or cycle. Your pick.

Trip to a match
Hey Lads,
Thinking of heading over for the home game in April against West Ham.
It will be my first time so I was wondering what is the most direct route from Dublin?
Would it be: Flight from Dublin to Manchester and bus/train to Bolton??
Any help appreciated.

I like your enthusiasm .East Lower wrote:No no no. They are fragile and low in confidence. This is the new Bolton. We attack. We might lose 0-5, but we attack.
Score the first goal and they'll shit their pants.

Re: The Trotters vs Mighty Russian Empire (Chelski away)
What about:
Jussi
Gretr(if fit), Cahill, Knight, Robbo
Elmo, Mavies, Muamba, Holden, Petrov
SKD
Obviosly when we don't have the ball and when we do have the ball Elmo can support SKD and Mavies can drift wide.
