I did mine many moons ago at a well known electronics company and spent the week making illegal games for my super nintendo. It's amazing what you can do with the right software and a soldering iron - quality.

Yea - however much money you take you will spend (unless you have a big win) beware!

Just as work expands to fill the time available, bets expand to fill the races available.

As for tips, if anyone tells you they know what they're talking about they probably don't - go with your gut!

Best -
The final. Because I had Italy in the sweep at work

Probably wrong, but I think it might have something to do with those wonderfully accurate World Rankings!! You're probably right, and here's the top ten. However I cannot believe the sarcastic tone of your post - USA are obviously much better than argentina  1 Brazil 2 Czech Republic 3 The Ne...

3rd 4th Place Playoff

Why? Does anyone care? For the players it must be the worst thing ever - get so close to the world cup final, get knocked out, then have to play a meaningless game. It's not the frickin Olympics there's no bronze medal on offer. Maybe we should follow this example and see who finishes third in the F...

Hopefully there'll be a flurry of yellow cards - a distinct possibility. Then the same again in their semi so we'll be playing against the second XI if..............sorry when we reach the final.

Having said that Argentina's second choice players looked pretty handy against Holland.

The black on the outside, frozen in the middle, food poisoning giving, man with stick poking fire method of cooking might be all right for our backward convicted cousins but lets ...

Can't see Rooney starting as he's unlikely to last 90 mins and if he does he'll be completley fooked. I'd like to see him given a similar amount of time as yesterday - certainly no more than 45 min. What's the point of risking him for any longer? Think the only change may come in midfield. The probl...

Transfer Window, Managers, Shopping, My Mrs. and Toasties

It suddenly occurred to me in a rare moment of clarity yesterday evening whilst watching SSN that the transfer window makes football managers behave like my Mrs. on a shopping spree. My point is that what ever happens she can't come home empty handed - doesn't matter what she comes home with as long...
