If we can't get in the away end, it will be us in the home ends; train tickets are booked.

Re: Nottingham Forest Away

Club need to sort out the online sales, me and mates have been trying for Forest all weekend.

I just hope it will go to pay at the turnstiles.

Re: Day of Destiny/Doomsday: Stoke away

Even if we'd've won 6-0 today, we would've still needed a result at Stoke, so I've no idea why there's so much negativity on this thread.... you not the best at maths? or even the idea of momentum? hope wheater is fit really. best player we have to combat them aerially. any idea how bad his injury ...

You've hit the nail on the head, for me, here!

(and that's not mentioning the Championship players we've signed from Burnley)

Wow, how to misquote someone! I never mentioned the words abnormal, northern or northerner, so I'm not sure where they came from! :conf: I never said change who you were, mention your accents, or did I tell anyone to talk about petrol prices! I only pointed out that this is what Boltonians talk abou...

Re: BWFC Podcast

I've only just read this thread and thought I'd offer my opinion on the Podcasts. For me, you need to be more working class/ down to earth; like a discussion in a pub amongst normal Bolton fans. Someone else posted that you sounded like two Radio 1 DJs and I agree! You sound very studenty and far re...

3pm on the 6th of August... do I just show up at the ground and pay on the door?

Yes, 3pm £10 on the door. £5 concessions.

For the reserves.
Yes, I thought it was, I was wondering if it was still on.! I'd much rather have a full day out in York than go to that morbid affair, the night before.

Re: Looking for info

Sorry but I don't get your point: Why would we have had to have had a temporary move? Have other clubs not managed it? Just look at our neighbours Blackburn or Man Utd for prime examples of totally rebuilt grounds. Where did they move to? Surely the risk of having hit financial problems halfway thro...

Re: Looking for info

Hi mate! You didn't offend me - we're all Bolton fans offering thoughts and opinions. We could argue all day about the crowds but from a personal point of view, I find it hard to believe that the home sections of Burnden wouldn't have sold out for games against Man City, Man Utd etc! That's before I...

Re: Looking for info

Short term pain for long term gain. on balance, the Reebok has been a major catalyst to our recent relative success. Can't see Burnden ever allowing us to tap "alternative revenue streams" in the same way. We had success at Burnden too; in fact, our recent, relative successes started there. We woul...

Re: Does the club need an anthem?

People take the mickey out of The Emirates for being a libary but i have sat amongst your lot several times and your away support is pretty pathetic ;) Reckon you need something to get you fired up... This is my (earlier) point. If we can't even sing/get fired up, how on earth can we even contempla...
