Good job the manager rates him so highly then.Jokers in White wrote:He needs a run of games under his belt now, its no good for him coming on in the last 15 to 10 mins in games he needs 90 mins every week then we can judge him.

Re: Bolton vs Aston vanilla (The official match thread)
I really really don't get the Steinsson hate. He's been no worse than Robinson.
Is it really that he had the balls to speak out? feck me, that's what we need isn't it? Some leaders, someone with some balls? Not the nicey nicey bullshit we're currently seeing!

Re: Already too late to sack Coyle
The Sturridge thing annoys me a a bit. He scored a sackful of goals for us and made it clear he wanted to go back to Chelsea multiple times.
He was never going to be a Bolton player this season, Coyle above all should have known that. If not, he's just a bad judge of character, simple as.

Re: Bolton vs Aston vanilla (The official match thread)
I don't think anyone has ever blamed Petrov for the fact that Robinson is slow and useless. However, it follows that if your least-worst LB (in the opinion of the manager) is slow and useless, you need your LM to be slightly better at defending than a traffic cone. Then why in the name of all that ...

Re: Already too late to sack Coyle
Indeed. Megson may have been vile toward the fans, but Coyle's positivity is actually rubbing me up the wrong way too. It's as though we're all dense and don't notice the constantly changing turnstiles of our first eleven, with below-par players giving below-par peformances in a ridiculously rigid a...

Re: Bolton vs Aston vanilla (The official match thread)
Mark Davies won't do anything until he's given a good run of games in the middle of the park, with a competant (or maybe 2 competant) tackling midfielders. Apropo of nothing, but Tuncay looks really odd to me, almost Crouch-like. It's funny, but although we're missing Holden and Chung Yong, I actual...

Re: Coyle - Time to go? [post-Everton]
It's a real shame, but I think Coyle has proved that unfortunately he's not quite ready for "the big time" yet. Sadly I think he's going to learn a lot of his tactical nouse on the job, with us, in the Championship.

Re: Bolton vs Aston vanilla (The official match thread)
I don't get it. I really don't. If Reo-Coker isn't playing, Muamba must...and vice-versa. Actually to be honest, as we are at the moment, I'd play both of them in the middle in a 4-2-3-1...but Coyle, no, he decides Muamba isn't the right player, instead...we played the defensive Tuncay. I mean...wha...

Re: Apart from Holden what has Coyle brought to BWFC
What has Coyle brought to BWFC? For me personally, elation...for a time, followed by the worst apathy for the club I've ever felt, I think. I barely look up on a Saturday now. I still care, of course I do...anyone who says they don't is kidding themselves, but results wise I know we're going to lose...

I'm sure everyone has seen this by now, but this made me feel sick. Re: The Official Xbox 360 Thread
Oblivion was mesmeric in its genius. I spent over 100 hours in that game-world...but I wouldn't want to go back now, it'd look horrible. But yeah, they are both RPGs, not First Person Shooters. Saints Row: The Third is a game people should grab if they can, astonishingly insane, but mechanically gre...

Re: The Official Xbox 360 Thread
Oblivion has dated extremely poorly, I'd go straight for Skyrim.
If you play Oblivion and think "Oh is this what Skyrim is going to be?" you'll probably never play Skyrim.

Re: Newcastle Third what is different about them and Bolton?
The fundamental difference is that they have a superb and under-rated midfield 2 (Tiote is especially ace), with a very competent back-four as well.

Re: Bolton v Stoke
Mirror preview saying Joe Riley will get the nod at right back! Coyle burning his bridges even further with Gretar imho - he's as much as saying "Our defensive problems are right back". Not smart management, if Riley is savaged down the right you end up with once choice at right back (Steinsson) wh...

Been away from the forums for a while, kinda surprised to come back and see this thread. Why are you surprised? Have you been away from our results, our performances, our team selection charades, laughable defending and most specifically the league table for a while too? No, I've felt shit every we...
