Re: New kits for 17/18
Meh. They look cheap.
I'm mostly just happy that there is some contrast between the home and away. Playing as Bolton in FIFA 17 was sometimes challenging since the home and away were too close.

Mr. Allardyce, if you're reading this, let me tell you about the lovely mild climate and fine restaurants Seattle has to offer . . .

Re: Your England XI
Drinkwater is still ranked below career also-rans like Milner and Henderson. Even the Premier League Title can't elevate him above the 8th placed team.

Re: Allardyces dream job...
Looks like Allardyce is going to complete the miracle. 3-0 up with 20 to go.
I'm happy for him but it hurts so much to think what might have been if he'd been backed by Davies all those years ago.

Re: Tonight's Football
It just goes to show how much of a nonsense the Premiership is when there is such massive shock that one of it's members outside of 3 or 4 clubs actually wins it. I mean, how fcuked up must a sport be when most of the participants can't possibly win it? I'd hate for us to go down the US route, but ...

Re: Tonight's Football
I haven't really followed the Premier League in years, for obvious reasons. I've devoted more of my attention to the Sounders and MLS in general. It's been pretty incredible to see how much coverage Leicester's title chase has received here, such as this long New York Times article. I feel like it's...

Re: Holden Comeback Pt. 27
I wouldn't have thought the Championship is the place for someone with his fragilty. Hope he gets a crack at it in the MLS. MLS is still largely populated by center backs who came up through the college system, where the top 3 priorities are size, strength, and speed and "timing a tackle" is maybe ...

I bet they could raise a decent chunk of cash by putting Emma Davies and Phil Gartside in a dunk tank.Gary the Enfield wrote:They've raised £24000 already? Impressive. What's it being used for?

Re: Holden Comeback Pt. 27
Whilst the downward spiral began with little sam you can arguably point to jonny evans 'doing' stu as the edge of the cliff. Stu getting injured = elmander in midfield at wembley = coyle being exposed as a chancer = relegation = current doooooom. Fck you Jonny Evans. When I meet you, I will stab my...
