Re: Reading

What time will you be there? I'm be in Bolton around 12.15 having one or two, then up to Scotts. Not sure what time i'll be there as i'm travelling with a few others. By all means PM me your number and i'll be willing to help you out, unless you get a better offer from someone else on here. In case ...

Re: Could it be you?

I heard a story the other day ( from my local lottery outlet) that come October ,or thereabouts, the price of lottery tickets will double to £2. If this is true, that's me out. It's true. Not being funny TD, but you're prepared to pay £1 with a chance to become a multi millionaire, but not £2? Bloo...

Re: Reading

Pre match, the pubs located on the plot where the hotel is won't let you in. Best bet for you is a 5 minute walk up past the main road where the monument is and up to the Beehive. Coppers will be able to point you in the right direction. Otherwise, if you get up early doors. Get on the train (right...

Re: Reading

Unfortunately the last train back is 11.15pm. A quick google suggests that the taxi fare would be around £42. A trip to Bolton would leave you on the same train (11.30ish), but probably less than half the taxi fare. You could get the last train and go into scotts by your hotel. However, i have no id...

Re: Reading

Thanks very much mate, really useful info. Heard the Beehive mentioned several times so will give that a go :) As far as the evening goes who knows what we'll do, although Bolton nightlife sounds on a par with Reading so we'll feel at home :P If you're going out then go out in Manny, Chief. We do (...

Surprised that Sky haven't insisted that all teams adopt this type of name as part of the latest deal. Bolton Trotters!

Re: For the birds

Doesn't the RSPB ask members of the public to record the number and types of birds in their garden on one day each year? I'm certain that Mrs BP does this and then uploads the details to their website. Maybe this corresponded with your 'discovery' GTE.

Re: Dougie Freedman - Ten Months On

I am sure there are some people although I think the majority of you just see me as a comedy character. Not intentionally funny though Dan. However, should I get the chance tomorrow, I will happily buy you a beer lemonade in Scotts/Harvester. Your southern shandy drinking mates can feck off ...

Re: Stuff what winds me up at away days.

On a lighter note, which away game brings you the best memories? Mine's gotta be 'boro a few seasons back. The celebration when Gavin Mccann buried the goal was unreal. Hull away 1993, without a doubt. Down to 10 men and a goal down by half time. 10 men fight back score 2 goals (followed by pitch i...

Re: Stuff what winds me up at away days.

You're right about all those things being incredibly annoying. To add to it: 5) Yer mums yer dad.... a) Looking around there are a few in our away crowd who shouldn't be calling anyone else "inbred". b) The song doesn't even make fecking sense c) Its so small time it really is embarassing. 6) Peopl...
