Re: What are you watching tonight?

Ive never seen a Bourne film, no desire to either. That Marley documentary though is brilliant, as is the new Stone Roses one btw. tonight, at last, its ICEMAN. just re-read the book , it'd better not let me down... Is that the one about Richard Kuklinski? Brilliant book, if so. Think i'll have to ...

Re: Where are you going tonight?

Off to the farmers market at Rammy, to pick up amongst other things, some decent items for our second barbie of the weekend. Hopefully, I won't drop half the food like I did last night.

A home derby. Not fussed which one of the inbred feckers it is.

I have a feeling that it's gonna by Yeovil away though.

Happy, nay bloody delighted to have saved £120+ on my car insurance. :pissed: How the feck can one insurer provide a renewal quote of £370, whilst another provides a quote of less than £250, with better cover? you'll probably find that the company that offered you a renewal quote will, at t...

Re: What are you playing tonight?

Ventured into the centre of Manchester to enjoy the glorious weather, decided to wander in to a shop called 'that's entertainment' . Managed to get a good selection of 9 CD's for £10. I recommend it. That's my first stop on every trip to Manchester. Great for presents for my teenage daughter who ca...

Second reveal. Blue shorts. Not got around to learning how to post pics yet, so you're gonna have to trust me on this one.

Actually, on second thoughts it could be a blue away shirt. Just going off FB comments tbh. Oh I don't know.

Re: Pre Season Friendlies

Got my train tickets for Shrewsbury booked! £15 return with my railcard booking tickets in advance + having a railcard literally doubles the amount of games I can do each season. What website did you use Adam? Dunno about Adam, but I usually use Red Spotted Hanky. They tend to give out codes for £1...

Re: General Chit Chat

Just been invited to a wedding by a colleague. This has never happened to me before. Though I do find it quite odd. Mainly for the following reasons: 1) I've only been working with her for four months 2) I don't know what she looks like as we've only ever communicated via email 3) She lives and wor...

Re: The "Nothing to see here"Transfer thread

I read somewhere last week that Madden had been at Carlisle, I think, prior to Yeovil and had been absolutely shite. Maybe they were the wrong club for him. Might be worth a look. I saw all 3 of their play off games and he did nowt other than score the winner in the final. Not to be sniffed at, I kn...

Re: The "Nothing to see here"Transfer thread

I wonder whether Dougie should look into League 1 for players. Players who's sheer determination and commitment make up for slightly less talent. I watched about 5/10 Yeovil games last year and have to say that Paddy Madden and James Hayter are two very handy attackers! Throw a spanner in the works...
