Re: ipod advice needed

I originally had an Ipod Video but it was a big bulky thing, quite pricey too. I sold that off and bought myself an Ipod Nano (4th gen) and had it for two years before moving onto an Iphone. I then sold the Nano on for only less than £5 than I bought it new. If you want a fairly cost effective Ipod ...

Re: Gary Parkinson

Absolutely. Fair play to Mowbray and M'Boro for giving him something to be doing in football. Must be hell for him, reading up about the symptons, to me, that honestly sounds worse than death. Having all your mental faculties in order but not being able move or communicate in any other way than eye ...

Re: Official Gary Cahill transfer thread

So how much money will you be losing out on by holding out on selling Cahill in January and not August? And is losing out on that amount of money for the sake of having him an extra 5 months or so worth it, when you look at your league position? Not having a dig, just genuinely curious as to your o...

Re: Ambitious Blackburn

According to Nixon Venkys/Kean have agreed a new two year deal, pay rise, and removed any notion of a reduced settlement fee should they sack him. :D Brilliant! And I thought BWFC forums got depressed and angry during the worst stages of Megson's reign...check this out, on a whole other level. http:...

Re: Bolton v Baggies - Match thread

Next time the club offers free travel, I'll have to think long and hard as to whether it's worth going. From the first to last it was a total embarassment. Kids sat in the stands playing on a DS people leaving to go to a pub just before half time because they wanted to watch someone else. Teenagers...

Re: Time to go

The second half yesterday was as bad as anything served up under Megson. No shape, no pace, no idea other than to hoof it up to whoever was up front, whether it was Davies winning 1 out of every 4 balls- and that one was going to no-one because Klasnic had given up running for the day. Or N'Gog who ...

Has any team scored six goals in a football match before without someone saying "six of the best"?

Re: Bolton v Baggies - Match thread

3pts would be a great springboard and would propel us up into midtable. Would probably be happy enough with a point though too.

Crazy fact, we've not drawn a game since Newcastle away on February 26th.

Re: England, England, Ra-Ra-Ra...

Cahill dropped for a Jageilka and Lescott partnership. Oh dear. Lampard, Parker, Jones midfield trio. Oh dear-er. Oh well, at least I can cheer on Spain now. I have a few bets on that predict England to take a beating, I can hope they come in now without being arsed that Cahill might be affected for...

Re: gary cahill would you rather >>

I'd rather us swap him for a twenty two year old Paolo Maldini, but that's as unlikely as the first option so I'd rather we sell him for whatever we can get in January (which I actually think will be a decent amount (5m-ish) as long as two or three clubs want him)

Re: Kev Davies future on hold

Jussi Jaaskelainen- Wouldn't be held to ransom but he's worth a new deal. 1 or 2 years. Gary Cahill- Hopefully sell him in January for 5M upwards. Ricardo Gardner- Time to go. Give him that testimonial! Zat Knight- Perhaps worth another year on reduced terms. Sam Ricketts- Renew. Paul Robinson- Let ...

Re: Kev Davies future on hold

I'd give him another year. Wonder if we fancies shifting into one of those player coach type roles. I think J.I.W could be onto something with pointing out that in Eaves and Sampson we have players in a similar mould, and they could only benefit with him passing on his wisdom.

Re: Free Travel & £15 Tickets for WBA away

I'm in for this one as well. Can't afford to get to many away days but I always like to do two or three a season. Glad to hear it'll sell out. Although our original allocation of 2600 didn't seem like much, aren't WBA obligated to offer us a certain % of their stadium capacity? Perhaps we'll ask for...

I remember pitching that Jaroslaw Fojut could be our shit version of Tony Adams after watching him domiante one of the top teams in a reserve game and marshall our defence really well. Then again, I also boldly claimed that Ricardo Vaz Te could be our shit Theirry Henry after that goalscoring pre-se...

Re: Bolton v Stoke

Stoke's 5-0 got them Europe.

Judging by our performances and injury problems this year, the last thing we needed was Europe.

Hurt a lot at the time, but losing at Wembley may have been for the best (if we assume we wouldn't have gone on and beaten Man City)

Re: Bolton v Stoke

Baptism of fire for Riley but I'd rather he get games than Steinsson. Might as well go with someone with potential, even if only potential to be average, than go with Steinsson who has proven himself awful over the last couple of years and proven he'll make mistakes, let his head drop and let the te...

San Andreas is one of the favourite games of all-time, certainly my favourite of the GTA series. For that reason, I've got high expecations for this and I cannot wait for the game. :D

Any idea when we're looking at a release? Within the next 12 months I hope.
