The ref's a joke. But to be fair, Silva should already be off.

Ladbrokes has us as favourites to sign him at 3–1. Not that that means anything.

Re: If carlsberg did transfer threads.....This would be it!

I'm hoping for a pacy wide player, but I can't remember the last time we had one! I'm also not quite sure how we would fit a wide player into the narrow diamond he seems to favour in midfield? Surely he has to go wider with a player like Madine waiting for crosses, though? Unless he really is going...

Re: Bolton v Paderborn

NL lost his rag with the referee after that challenge on Mavies who is limping slightly as they troop off. Nothing serious, but 2 footed over the ball challenge. As they came off Lennon was playing it form and straight with the ref saying "I don't want any injuries, you need to get a grip". Madine ...

Re: Contracts: the summer juggle

Looking at it with pure pragmatism, I went for 10 of the 20. I didn't mean to, it's just how it happened. Of the three goalkeepers, I went for Amos, as having potentially the best future (and, not unconnectedly, resale value). I like Lonners and I've nothing against Boggers but I reckon we're more ...

Re: No one likes them, do we care? Millwall Home.

As well as Amos has done, given our loanee problems I'd be sticking Lonners in and an U21 on the bench until Boggers is back. From the way Lennon's been bigging up Amos, I suspect he's looking to sign him at the end of the season, presumably with the aim of getting some dosh for Bogdan. (Bogdan's c...

Re: These be her very Cs, her Us and her Ts - Rovers Away 11

We've dropped points in injury time in 5 of our last 9 games  I've noticed from occasionally visiting other clubs' forums that all fans tend to think their team is particularly unlucky with injuries and uniquely bad at conceding goals in the last few minutes of matches. But in our case – fec...

Agreed. I can't bear it. So naff. It actually spoils my enthusiasm when we score.

He gives big props to Ben Amos, which is interesting ("gave us a calmness at the back...")

Re: New Sheriff, but he's still a villain - Forest (A) 21/02

Standard for someone with a suspected head injury. If he hadn't gone down, we were down to nine men, the ref had already reached for his card and was sending him off for denying a goal scoring opportunity. Lonnergan is on his way to hospital with a head/chest injury. All part of the cunning plan, r...

Re: New Sheriff, but he's still a villain - Forest (A) 21/02

Beyond awful and utterly shambolic. No one seemed to have a clue where they were playing or what their role was. Is that 28 in 8 we've conceded? I don't remember such a poor performance. No passion, no closing down, unable to pass to a white shirt. Grim. Lonergan didn't seem to get touched for me, ...
