15 years ago I lost my job. As I had little training or qualifications to do anything other than the job I was doing, I joined an agency. The only job they had (they said) was street sweeping. This is one of the best jobs I ever did. 6 weeks pushing a brush up and down London's gold paved streets s...

Pesronal preference:

Ham on fresh buttered bread, liberal coating of Colemans's English Mustard, thin slices of raw onion. Superb.

Tuna needs a little lettuce and thin sliced tomato or cucumber seved on a fresh roll. Touch of salt and pepper.

Avatars.

Gertie, I was one of those who voted for avatar freedom for you, but I must admit that grinning skeleton of yours is putting me off my food. He looks like a reprieved prisoner of war. Can't you find a pic that at least looks human?....Please! I'll even try to find a World Cup Tango dancer if ...

I did three and a half years as a mobile security guard. Driving two hundred miles a night on seven x twelve hour shifts. Had bricks thrown at me, a drunken tramp threw a bottle of gin at me, hassle, dark places by torchlight and little work about the following week when you were supposed to be on d...

Obvious really, Bolton Fan in Australia ( Oz ). A bit silly now that I come to think about it, but too late to change now. Im sure the mods could change it for you, they did for Tango. My previous life MEATPIEANDCHIPS, was a bit of a joke for a joke site, 606. I was invited here and came over. The ...

This is an odd phenomenon for me, as a recent convert to the world of football. I have no frame of reference for any of Everton's (or for that matter Tottenham's or West Ham's) past triumphs so whenever anyone goes there looking for a "big club" I am mystified. Tell the public something often enoug...

By the time Rosslyn (Roslin) Chapel was built the Templars were coming to the end of their power trip. They had been routed from France by the King and the Pope because of their wealth and accused of heracy and all sorts of heinous crimes against the church (most likely wrongly) and their leaders ex...

????? I am glad we didn't get him as I feel the price is too much. I hope he does flop at Everton. All I was saying this for is to silence the muppets who think BWFC are as big as Everton on any scale. Being a BWFC fan doesn't mean you have to blindly deny all truths. Some of the guys on here would...

In a restauarant in Nerja, southern Spain (sorry, Tango. No idea which one :( ), and whilst enthusiastically inebriated and amongst similarly intoxicated friends, I requested of our waiter "another bottle of Bruce Rioja". It's just one of those things that for some reason people have reminded me ab...

I'm pretty impressed if this is true, shows some real ambition and (if they come off) it proves you can move quickly and close a deal properly if you want too. The phrase "talk's cheap" springs to mind. Well, if things don't quite work out and he doesn't prove to be Everton's Second Messiah after t...
