Though I would say you are correct in that Collins and Charles will start as I just can’t see Vic being ready having not played in months. Twas not I that said so, but the all knowing Bolton News....https://www.theboltonnews.co.uk/sport/24292900.bolton-wanderers-victor-adeboyejo-poised-barnsley-ret...

Re: No nonsense, Ronseal type of deal. Barnsley Away. 3rd May 2024 19.30pm
Keep thinking negative thoughts and talking about the past is non-productive. Clean sheet, fresh start and Barnsley are just another team in our league. None of the past matters, only the future. Lately, I read of a man who said, "Our best defence is offence. No matter how well you defend, unless yo...

^^Agreed. All the rest is history; we're in a three match league at best now and it's a sudden death one. Two games to win then Wembley as the prize, and then the coconut. Best to forget anything but beating the Yorkshire puds twice, once at Oakwell, then "Winter Hill, baht tat". League positions an...

Just expressing a view as we are here to do: There's still a massive slice of divine right in our supporting attitudes. Every team wants to be better, it's human nature, but not a single game is a carved in stone certainty, not one. How must the Blackpool fans feel today, indeed any town where hope ...

If it were just a league match we'd be thinking a draw would be a decent result. Winning 5-0..well, stranger things have happened. One can but hope. Que Sera. .:oyea: ae:) ae:) And thus it came to pass. We got the draw away from home against a good side. :oyea: p.s. I see Marc Iles is trying to pin...

I just watched England win the Women's Six Nations trophy in the battle of the bulging buttocks. They beat France 42-21, who had a red-card player off the field. Brutal man, just brutal.

A rhyme in time: The time has come, the Gaffer said, To talk of many things: Do we charge from Midfield Or leave it to the Wings? Can we score a pan-full By playing to the letter, Will Dion be the hero, Or Williams and Ogbeta? Sheehan, Dempsy, Eoin Toal, Collins or Jerome, We don't care who gets a g...

Aye, Monty, back in the days when M.P's meant Members of Parliament and not Muppets and Puppets, and we had churches pubs, clubs, cinemas and corner shops by the bucket full. Compared to today, The good Old Days were actually quite good and not just figments of our imagination.

The Swiss investors are pulled together by Nick Lucock's brother and consists of around 25 families from Switzerland. I guess a £5m sum, split between 25 makes it more manageable coz it's only 200k a piece, and you can bet there's a tax loss deferring tax owed somewhere...What his brother said last...

SO, staying with Evatt; in effect, win and be promoted ( subject to mitigations) . = heroic, lose = a failure and get the sack? Difference is a goal. Re: Season 23/24 Predictions
Do you find it more or less reductive than second is success, third is failure? Success is promotion. The club have said that multiple times. In football there isn’t a prize for ‘nearly’. Thats not reductive in any sense. We should be getting out of this division - Evatt, the club the players are a...
