Cheers for the words Pru btw. Just a point about Media studies and Communication studies. I took Media at GCSE and it was a joke. Irrelevant tosh that was unlikely to be applied in the real world, and it was a breeze to pass. They let you take the exam home beforehand ffs! As far as I know its much ...

Ponderland recieved 70 odd complaints yesterday, the majority of which were lodged BEFORE the show even aired. Ridiculous, though it was funny to see that channel 4 actually recieved more feedback of praise for actually airing it. The show was hilarious and was great to see Russell on top form. And ...

You'd think the Daily Mail would be satisfied, but nope. They've extracted more qoutes from the show trying to stir up controversy, and have done an article complaining about the content of Russell's ponderland show, that's airing tonight. What a load of sensationalistic bollocks. As for Ross, the b...

I'm saying if they could be described as anything by the over-reactive lunatics who have fuelled this story, that it would be nuisance, not obscene. Personally having listened to the calls, I don't believe they classify as that and seemingly neither does Andrew Sachs.

'You're son isn't dyslexic Mrs. Daxter, he's just very very stupid.' :D I was reet with the letters, didn't do maths at a-level. Doing economics at uni was a shock...the letters aren't pointless though. Good for theoretical models. According to my mate who does maths, engineers design building usin...

"Arrested for what?" How about making obscene 'phone calls. Last time I looked it was a criminal offence. This is what gets to me. If I'd rung up an OAP and screamed down the ' phone that I'd fecked his granddaughter I'd expect the boys in blue to come knocking. I don't think if I said it was just ...

XFM or absolute radio would love to have him. The XFM incident was yonks ago. I just don't think Russell will do it, as he doesn't need a radio show, and listening to his statement it sounds like his enthusiasm for doing it has waned. Ricky Gervais style podcasts could be the way to go. Such a shame...

Nice, sincere apology from Russell on the Beeb site. It's a fecking disgrace how this has been reported though, and I'm so sad to see the Radio show end. It was genuinely hilarious most weeks and I'll really miss getting the podcasts. I imagine he will be on some commercial station soon. Where taxp...

manuel has been pretty cool about it. wo$$ and knobhead are the ones being tardigrades by being dicks after it 'kicked off'. thats why they might lose their jobs. prank phone calls ? steve penk can do them for £17million less. he could probably do a chat show with ricky gervais on every week too.
