With covid and some personal family shit going on, I could really do with the Wanderers bringing some much needed sunshine into my life - The useless tw*ts. I backed Keith Hill, even beyond the Accrington humiliation, but by the end as his gibberish really started to grate, I was glad to see the bac...

and we are sleepwalking towards relegation.
That is a real worry now, particularly as we look incapable of putting another run of wins together now.

Mansfield appear to be a good example of what a decent coach can get out of decent players. They've never looked back since appointing Clough.

I'm rapidly losing any faith I had left in Evatt.

If the pitch is bad, get it out wide. Particularly since we look a bit lightweight in the centre of the park.

Aye. Spend 6 months getting his sharpness back and then come back to us in the summer.

Re: Half season predictions

I predicted top 10 pre season based on the players we still had and those we'd picked up, who I'd heard of. I'm still anxious that we've another Dougie Freedman on our hands and to my own shame, I bought into a lot of Evatts early optimism, just as I bought into Freedmans 'vision'. That said, there ...

Wigan retake the lead, Rovers equalise, as do Vale and Oldham.

This is not good for my mental health!

Even the most optimistic of us isnt likely to mention promotion again after this
The first half is the best we’ve played this season.
You're right.

Re: Exeter Expects. Exeter City v Bolton (A) - 19:00 - 12th Jan

Covid + Brexit + Capitol Hill last week is enough to crush anyone's joie de vivre. At least supporters of other clubs can be cheered by their team's performances. Not us though. Our gameplan going out the window due to the latest injury jinx, I expect to see a right full back at left wing back, God ...

That new striker. Ched Evans? Just been told to leave Fleetwood by Barton for "several infractions". Unsure whether they're terminating his contract yet though. Nixon tweet: "PRESTON. Close to winning race for Ched Evans. FLEETWOOD may yet want fee for player Joey Barton said was out. SUNDERLAND an...

Re: We've all come a long way: Crawley (H) Sat 2 Jan @ 3pm

We keep saying we don't have the players to play a different formation, but we don't have the players playing this one very well either! This. A hundred times this. Square pegs in round holes. He obviously believes wholeheartedly in this system, which is fine if you have wingbacks at the club. We h...

Re: We've all come a long way: Crawley (H) Sat 2 Jan @ 3pm

Did we play a lot better or did they just get deeper trying to protect their lead? I see we haven't got out of the habit yet of winning back possession when the opponents have come out of their shell, and by passing sideways and really slowly to each other, the opposition trot back into position beh...
