Mascoll shipped off to Irish side Waterford on loan, if the URL is a bit too unclear.

Nice work!Gooner Girl wrote: ↑Tue Feb 23, 2021 7:22 pm5 slow miles tonight for me, friend and the (bigger) dog. Happy with that. Time was shocking but want to get the distances in til 10km doesn’t seem like a one off miracle once or twice a year. That’s about 20k all in for February BP. I need to get out more then once a week!

Re: The athletics/running thread
Glad to be back running again but my legs are so weak. Tried a longer run on Sunday and had to pack it in after half an hour, calves just can't hack it atm! Probabl shouldn't have gone back to five days a week after five weeks off, idiot. Last year I was enjoying swimming and this January acquired ...

Good to see that on Saturday we've got the lunatic ref who squared up to an Ipswich player last night. Wouldn't surprise me if he got "rested" but if not what odds another red card? FA is investigating the incident. Here's how Neil Lennon rated Dazzler after our 4-3 loss at QPR back in ye day: I've...

Re: The athletics/running thread
Impromptu run out last night to a) get out of the built up areas of London for sanity's sake and b) confirm that Stanmore actually exists. Knee seems better for the most part but the hamstring feels quite weak these days, I suppose from a month of nowt? Tried opening the stride on Tuesday and felt t...

Re: What are you watching tonight?
Watched an adaption of the ABC Murders t'other week. John Malkovich as Poirot ( :| ) and Rupert Grint as a DI ( ). Found it hard to suspend my disbelief at the start but I actually warmed to it quite a lot in the end, very enjoyable. Then watched the ITV adaptation of 'Murder on the Orient Exp...

I think I'm a bit more optimistic for the next few years once *gestures in the general direction of the outside world* subsides, mainly because I think people will be deliriously happy to see each other and not really care about what @Geoff43905485 has to say about Middle Eastern politics and the EU...

Re: Best Ever 1-11
 😁 was a genuine question, I’ve blanked him from my mind! Surprised Blake isn’t an automatic selection for anyone my age plus...11 year old me has him as an absolute top all round striker and on a frankly abysmal pitch that last season at burnden. Then looked good enough the season after to g...

Re: The athletics/running thread
Really happy to be back at it this week, knee much better and able to last longer than a few mins (matron, etc). Next step is to get a decent longish run in as well as some speed work on the track (and dodging the cavalcade of toddlers that now use it as a playground) to really get back into a decen...

Currently alternating between Series 3 of Lilyhammer and The Night Manager, whilst awaiting the new series of Line of Duty :) Oh, watched that thing that was supposedly set in Dundee but was filmed round here . Was OK, worth midweek watching, but was nowt particularly spesh. What's that? It's a tow...

Re: The athletics/running thread
Excellent news! Already getting the miles in? Cheers LE! Still shocked tbh. Not so much at the minute, been injured since just before christmas with a knee issue, only just gotten back into slow plods the last week. Thankful there is enough time between now and then to heal up properly, get some go...

Got a last swim in before the pools shut from tomorrow.
Cans in, chili about be put on the go, then going to drink until I'm blind.
What an unremittingly shit year.

As has been described previously that was a bad game of football between two bad teams.
Nice to be back watching though after a long absence. Good to see old faces and new. Mulling the southend trip in a few weeks.
