Re: Should I(E) stay or should I(E) go?
Not sure anyone, anywhere, ever has said that Evatt should carry on as he is. I've repeatedly said he needs to change. I can't speak for all stay-voters, but I'm confident they all think the same to a greater or lesser extent. There's a serious conversation to be had, and it'd be lovely if it start...

Re: Loaning our young players
Exactly… they were dark times that season and unfortunately it didn’t take much to shine.
That’s not to say he’s not good enough or anything of the sort, but some of the hysteria I’ve read on social media about him going out on loan is baffling.

Re: New Manager Thread
What do we think is a realistic target? I agree with those who say they'd be happy if we continue to exist in a year, but that we're paying 6 figure compo for a new manager suggests the owners aren't worried about going bust, and surviving as a club can't be a sporting target. It may need to be qui...

Re: The next manager
I love Kevin Nolan, but didn’t he fail to take Notts County up with a massive budget in league 2?

Re: The next manager
I know a lot of Dale fans and have seen a lot of games whilst Dale were under Hill. When he was initially linked with us, maybe after Freedman left, I was against it. He basically ran Rochdale, and I thought the difference in size and fan base would be too much for him. It wasn’t unusual for Hill t...

Re: The next manager
Nolan is the most sellable story. Young manager, played in top division, former Wanderer. He also has a good win ratio, and the two clubs he's led have collapsed after he left... but that raises its own questions. Someone whose opinion I trust compared him to a Coyle <sharp intake of breath> - as i...

Re: Ken Anderson - New Owner (Definitely. For Now ..... )
Got to say, and without trying to promote other sites, there's a belter of a thread on Wways regarding the takeover with claims and counterclaims by two recently registered posters.... I saw that thread. Someone needs to challenge that Howard geezer on the numbers and "facts" he is giving out. They...

Re: Ken Anderson - New Owner (Definitely. For Now ..... )
Why would any buyer bother completing till Tuesday now? They'd just let Ken pay the wages.... Because Ken has changed the terms again to try and eek out a little bit more for him and Lee.... What? I believe the question was why anyone would complete now. Your answer doesn't make it more reasonable ...

Re: Ken Anderson - New Owner (Definitely. For Now ..... )
Any gathering, including Christmas Day with the in-laws at our house. :P Oof. And in all those gatherings, not once have I heard a single soul from either side say “I hadn’t looked at it that way. You might be right.” I’ve lost track again. Are the most further forward potential buyers in the Mark ...

Re: For new signings, ask the man from the Pru
There was one game, I think Fulham the year we were relegated from the Prem at home, where he just gave up. Damien Duff was tearing him a new arse hole almost every minute, and I recall him sitting down, taking his shin pads off and feigning an injury.
Absolute waste of money... Coyle the Clown

LOV stories are always with a Deano slant of things to me. They got the news that he was interested in buying, they got him on the Podcast when he took over, and they started to get stories about nasty Ken when things appeared to go wrong between him and Deano. I actually think Deano probably gives ...
