Re: Should Phil Parkinson be sacked?
Come the final whistle on Sunday and that will be it for Parky. Whether we remain or drop he's going.
I'm sure there will be no shortage of applicants for the position and Ken won't select a complete novice as Gartside did.

Re: A survival party brewing, or will we be drowning our sorrows? Burton v BWFC 28/4/2018 3pm
As much as I don't want to attend on Sunday, watching the Forest fans goading us with relegation chants I will be there. From a personal point, I can't see any squad member producing a goal. I have resigned myself to the fact it will be 3rd tier football again. Will I get a season ticket? Not this t...

Re: A survival party brewing, or will we be drowning our sorrows? Burton v BWFC 28/4/2018 3pm
From what I have read and heard I now believe Parkinson will resign after Forest game. The chanting of anti Parkinson at Burton could be heard all over the ground and it wasn't just any chanting. The abuse hurled towards him was diabolical. He's had a smooth ride up to now and I doubt hell hang arou...

It doesn't sound good when the Chairman tells the manager how to set up his side?
I wouldn't blame parky should he walk away.

Re: A survival party brewing, or will we be drowning our sorrows? Burton v BWFC 28/4/2018 3pm
We have a mix of expressions. Selling Madine? what if Madine was still here? Money problems transfer embargo winding up orders et al. Parky has had a lot to deal with but, we were five points above the relegation zone without Madine? and doing ok without him. His team selections have really been so ...

It's ok saying he knows how to take us up, but he don't know how to keep the team there. Sack him.

I would be a tad more optimistic if the team could score goals but, they can't. Forest won't be an easy team to beat.Dave Sutton's barnet wrote: ↑Sat Apr 28, 2018 4:34 pmBirmingham have gone from winning to losing, FWIW (which isn't much). Reading also losing at home to Ipswich. Re: A survival party brewing, or will we be drowning our sorrows? Burton v BWFC 28/4/2018 3pm
I wish Parky would find a best 11. Dervite not played for a while and comes back in against our most important match, what the hell. Down to the last game of the season as it stands. And to think all it would've taken would've been one win against Barnsley Birmingham or Burton. What a joke. Scoring...

Re: A survival party brewing, or will we be drowning our sorrows? Burton v BWFC 28/4/2018 3pm
Parkinson has been stubborn as a mule all season. He brought in Clough and hardly played him, there's a young lad in the reserves Conor Hall who has been scoring for fun, he could have done ok but Parky won't pick him. No doubt he'll be another that goes for a song end of season.

We need a complete clear out and appoint a manager with more ideas than this plank. He been out of his depth most the season.

Re: A survival party brewing, or will we be drowning our sorrows? Burton v BWFC 28/4/2018 3pm
Said it at the beginning of the season, get relegated and were a dead club. I know finances have played a major part in our decline once again but, I expected with some of those players to have done better. Parkinson at this level has not a clue. We can all live in hope but in reality we are return...

Parkinson should be shown the door after today enough is enough. He's chopped and changed all season, not knowing his best eleven, not good enough.

Re: We are (hopefully) staying up: the opposition
Finishing in those positions are all and well providing your fans are just happy by that. Bolton fans wont settle for anything less than promotion. Parkinson has had his time and failed. The bloke still doesn't know his best eleven, and that shows every week when we see the team selection. Fail to w...

Re: We are (hopefully) staying up: the opposition
Should they get nothing from Burton I don't fancy the last game V Forest for three points. We can't score goals nor defend. Should we get relegated again I can't even see this squad as a force in Div one. I think Anderson expected us to remain in this league as a potential attraction to buyers but, ...
