Re: When do we make a call on Evatt?
As I stated, Evatt will become a very good manager but not with a league 2 side. His ideas are ok if you have the players good enough to adapt. We go to Mansfield Tuesday, they appointed a manager with plenty lower league experience, they are now pushing for a promotion spot. Evatt could be returnin...

Re: When do we make a call on Evatt?
As I have stated before, Evatt has the makings of being a damn good manager. His idea of play would suit a much higher league side but not a bottom one. Those players we have are no where good enough to play the way he would like. Again, I'm not for changing management every few months but I do feel...

Are we asking too much just because we are "Bolton Wanderers"? This is a new adventure for many Wanderers fans who are struggling to come to terms with bottom league footy. As I stated in my last post, I do look forward to watching the game only to be let down. Probably my expectations are high whic...

I look forward to match day with great anticipation only to be let down. It seems as if the side need to go two goals down to start playing and pressing. I'm not one for changing manager every few month but, there's something about Evatt that suggests to me that as long as he's here the club will re...

Re: We've all come a long way: Crawley (H) Sat 2 Jan @ 3pm
From what I have seen and read on here, Bolton fans are more patient than I originally thought. My patience ended many games ago, not so much the team but, the way Evatt wants his players to play. When will he realise those players are not good enough to play that way. We need a pair of midfielders ...

No point trying to play pretty football, this lot can't do it. It's results what count and each game is a bloody struggle. Clueless in that last third.

Re: All change at Crewe....
I've been pretty lenient with this lot but, there comes a time when you're not doing your job to a satisfactory standard then it's time to review. As I have stated in the past, this crop of players aren't good enough to play the way Evatt would like, majority simply can't. Too many sub standard play...

Some of these players are none league at best. Can't put up with this keeper any more games, howler after howler.

Re: Growing a pair at the UniBol. Man(up)sfield at home. Tuesday 3rd Nov 7pm.
As much as Evatt tries to get the team to play nice pretty football, this crop of players simply can't do it. We have yet to win convincingly and by trying to do so makes me so glad I'm not there to witness it live. According to form, the best half of football we played was not visible as i follow w...

Is it the manager? I find it strange we have been one of the worst teams in the league for the past few seasons?

Re: A Barrow load of trouble. Barrow (A) League 2. 20/10/20 KO 7pm
Lose this and it will be the lowest since I began watching Bolton in the 60s. After witnessing their demise so far this season I have to ask, "who's going to score the goals"? This crop of players sure aren't going to put many teams to the sword. I honestly cannot see a Wanderers win, a draw would b...

Re: Oldham or fold em, but no full house in sight..
It's ok saying don't sack him yet, agreed but, he did assemble this crop of players. From what I've seen so far these players are simply not good enough to play the way Evatt wants. Oldham had significantly less possession than we but, they could have been four up at half time.

Re: Oldham or fold em, but no full house in sight..
I don't know what they practice in training but it isn't defending nor sticking the ball in a net. As many have said, I also didn't expect to walk this league but I expected better. To be fair, they did play some decent footy, but they're clueless in the last third of the pitch. I can't see where ou...

I must be one of very few that though the team performed quite well. The passing was better as was the forward play, It's just that last third of the patch where we are clueless. Santos was a rock at the heart of defence. We simply cannot score goals. I think we have to view this from a different an...

That was bloody awful. To think, I have a season ticket to watch this pile of shite.
This team won't get any where close to the play offs, they struggle to score goals and can't defend for toffee. I demand an improvement second half. Don't get too optimistic Bolton fans.

Re: Up Against the Elements. A Match Springs to Life. Their No. 16 is Atomic. Harrogate Town (A) 03/10/20 15:00
Better but a long way to go. I'm not getting excited by that victory, far from it, Harrogate were none league last term. It was a better performance especially from midfield. Defence is alarmingly bad and that keeper hasn't a clue when to come for crosses. Doyle will score goals when chances come hi...

A poor show and a defeat to Harrogate will be one of the lowest of lows for me being a Bolton fan.
