I agree l. Despite popular, or perhaps common, opinion, Jerome is great. A very wise head which is often needed.
Works hard too for the oldest player on the pitch most of the time

Will be interesting to see how Moxon - if he is indeed an actual/rumoured/confirmed target of ours? A Carlisle-supporting good friend of mine has a fairly dim view of him this season: thinks he's been found out at league 1 level and has been under-par and generally disappointing, as well as messing ...

Re: Who opened the door? My money is on Janus! 2024 January transfer thread.
I don't have a problem with people being angry with a shit display and calling it out on a message board/Twatter or whatever... Neither do I. Nor do I. However, I do have an issue with people in the stadium spending 85 minutes of every game vociferously complaining about everything and stating - as...

Re: Who opened the door? My money is on Janus! 2024 January transfer thread.
Being the best team in the division off the back of two failed transfer windows is no mean feat. I wouldn't be confident we are currently the best team in the division - Posh are now clear favourites to finish first anyway. Playing devil's advocate again, why are we not the best or favourites to fi...

Re: To be continued. Home to Cheltenham, Tues Jan 23rd , 7-45.
I hate to admit it but the back line is missing Jones. It's his leadership more than anything. I think somebody said that Toal is better with Santos at the back but I think it's when they're both in there. 100% agree. Jones is a massive miss. He's another one the whingeing "fans" (read: Pricks) lik...

Re: To be continued. Home to Cheltenham, Tues Jan 23rd , 7-45.
Looked on Twitter post match first few posts saying exactly what I feel after that. Need some signings urgently as this is a team that looks like it is running on empty. Three or four in. We were let’s be honest second best today. Cheltenham had almost double the efforts we had and more on target. ...

Re: To be continued. Home to Cheltenham, Tues Jan 23rd , 7-45.
That Vic goal has shut up a few nob eds on twitter. Pricks. There's a fair few of them around me in the stadium. Sometimes I genuinely wonder why people spend hard earned cash to come here and whine for the whole game Shame as it ruins the experience for those that want to support the team. We migh...

Re: South to East (London, that is) Leyton Orient away Sat 20th Jan 3-0'clock..
Key areas have been under stocked all season. Whilst I don't entirely disagree, playing devil's advocate and all that, we got to the end of the first half season 2nd in the league with a couple of games in hand, whilst progressing in 2 cups OK, so maybe we haven't been under-stocked at all? Only no...

Re: South to East (London, that is) Leyton Orient away Sat 20th Jan 3-0'clock..
We should have plenty of money in reserve for 2 or 3 decent signings in January as they must still have plenty (and I mean plenty) of the fans bond money left - what was it £4.5M, where has that gone ? I don't know, but those 2 47" HD TVs they've put in the corners must have been, ooh, £600 each......

If we stick to the match as the topic, I’ll be surprised if you get anyone on here supporting that shower Dave! Are we suddenly rubbish? No. Where we tired / could we have done without flogging ourselves on Tuesday? Yes. Is that the reason we couldn’t pass wind, let alone a football today? No! The ...

Re: South to East (London, that is) Leyton Orient away Sat 20th Jan 3-0'clock..
So Santos is back to being a pub player. Vic presumably was a liability again. Squad isn't big enough. Players we do have aren't good enough. Our manager is crap. I suppose all we're missing to make BWFCi happy is being able to blame poor Dan.... But, as he also points out (regularly....), it's dead...

Re: F.A.Cup...Re-play V Luton at Home. Tues 16th Jan 19-45
Sheehan was incredible. As was Thomason, who must have added about £20m to his value for his all-round performance - before knocking about £10m back off with his sky-bound effort. But what a goal it would have been. Adeboyejo was fantastic in a much more "target-man" sort of role - he had Mengi on ...

And also for those who triéd to save him - hard for them to take as well I expect?
