Re: Trotters pics

http://www.howardpage.co.uk/SITES/BWFCScotland/History.htm Tried to copy these but not sure how to go about it. Full list of players from the photo for anyone who is unsure who is who. Here y'are. Not *quite* full list, though... http://i855.photobucket.com/albums/ab115/garyparkinson1974/bolton_wan...

Re: Wembley FA Cup Choir

This has to stop. It was bad enough when it was Russel Watson or Carline Jenkins (not quite so bad as 'our' Russ I'll give you) but please just let the band play the tune. We'll sing, everyone finishing at different times and then we can get on with it.

Where will it end?

Re: 2015/16 pre-season

Crazy to think the pre-season fixtures are out while the season is still on isn't it? Celtic, home or away would be good but would Ronny want to come up against Lenny and v.v? Deila has said in the press that he'd rather not play in tournois in the US or FE but we'll see what the club's accountant h...

Re: Going for the drop - Blackpool 4/4/15 (h)

For me one of the many joys of football isn't the positive aspect. Sure winning games is fine and everything but what could be more fun in throwing a spanner in the works of a title chasing team, getting an oppising manager the boot or hammering the final nail in a relegation bound teams coffin? I'v...

Re: Ding dong do.....Round 2

Another kick in the balls delivered courtesy of BWFC. I don't know what this club has done wrong in the past, perhaps it defiled a sacred buriel ground, signed a pact with the devil or bit the head of a baby duckling but no matter how many players and managers come and go there's always a last minut...

Re: 'He's mad that trusts in the tameness of Wolves'. Wolves

I know 'people who leave before the end' is a well worn topic on football forums but I couldn't believe the number of people deserting the ground with 10-5 minutes left on Saturday. It wasn't as if the game was fizzling out in to a drab 0-0 (even then I still'd wait for the whistle) Wolves were push...

Re: 'He's mad that trusts in the tameness of Wolves'. Wolves

I thought the booing was at the ref and the result rather than at the team but with Bolton fans you can never be sure can you? I was in the WSL and everyone around us was clapping so.... I don't see as much as I used to but there's so much improvement under Lennon it's untrue. The ball's being zippe...

Re: 'He's mad that trusts in the tameness of Wolves'. Wolves

I thought it was a good game. We were better in the first half and they had the better of the second so a fair result. I thought Clough was great. The ball sticks to him like glue, his passing and running hasn't been seen here for a long time rounded off with two great goals. I'm not putting any pre...

Re: FA Cup 4th Round - Fields of tw@t'n'cry - Liverpool (a)

I'd love to see Stevie Gee (the greatest human that ever lived) crying like a baby as his final season for his beloved club (apart from that time he wanted to sign for Chelsea) turns to shit in front of his piggy scouse eyes.

Re: FA Cup - Third round at home against Wigan.

Thought we were the better team by miles. By Christ Wigan are poor. Nae wunner they're where they are if that's the style they play. In the first half especially the ball was just being hoofed anywhere. They played better when Maloney came on and Boggers did have to make a couple of good saves but i...

A stopped clock is right twice a day. A clock which runs five minutes slow per hour is still broken, but rarely right. So ner. That's just a shit clock. ;) One, four, nine o'clock, thirteen o'clock rock! Twelve, two, eight o'clock, lamp o'clock rock! One, one, one o'clock, bee o'clock rock! I'm gon...

Re: Lonergen

When he first came in to the side I was pretty unimpressed with him. Thought his positioning was poor and he was beaten with long rage strikes that you'd hope a goalie would get something on. Perhaps he's improved his fitness and sharpness with this extended run and he's really pulled off some cruci...

Re: The bewildering carrer of Stuart Pearce.

He'll get another job almost straight away because he has the most important quality anyone in football can have. No, not brains, tacts, guile, ruthlessness, vision, determination or anything else like that. He's got TEH PASSIONSS!!!1111 Passion has to be the most overrated human quality ever. Turni...

C'est plus ca change! Listening to old Pshyco last night and he's 'this' close to changing his nickname to 'Mystified', 'Befuddled' or 'Alzhiemo'. If you didn't know it was him you'd swear it was Dougie talking. Lots of 'individual errors cost us' and 'need to put it right' and 'not my fault'. Long ...

Re: The Norwich away, match thread

When I worked at Ingersolls (pre internet - imagine that kids!) we were for ever having to tell people how to spell and pronounce 'Horwich'. In the end we came up with 'It's like 'Norwich' but with an 'H'.' From then on you'd hear it all day every day. 'It's 'HORWICH' like 'Norwich' but with an 'H''...

Re: The Norwich away, match thread

Have I ever told you about when I was romatically involved with the Norwich Chairman's grand daughter? Ahh, Pippa - where are you now? Anyway, yes, the game. Will be more than happy with a scoring draw, happy with 0-0 and would explode if we got a win. Win this and our climb up the league is on. Mor...

Re: Freedman out!

Just on the 'back to basics' thing. I don't know if anyone else has mentined this but shouldn't the 'basics' be there all the time? The fundamental skills or passing, moving, walking about and waving at friends in the away end should never be something you have to go back to. He's not quitting is he...

I wouldn't even waste a free text message on the dobber.

He should have pulled up this morning to find all his stuff blowing about the forecourt with seagulls pecking at Lennie who'd been half shoved in a bin bag.

Don't bother sending your key back it doesn't fit anyway.

Re: Fulham:whether it be bestial oblivion or some Craven scr

I listened on 5Live. They were taking the broadcast from London Radio so it was bound to be biased towards the homeside but I honestly don't think I heard the word 'Beckford' for the full 45 minutes he was on. Did he actually touch the ball? I heard that Spearing was taking All the freekicks. Did he...
