Re: Summer 2021 Transfer Thread.

I'm really disappointed in BWFCI, with him knowing all the top bods at the club and always having inside information on everything BWFC related I was expecting him to be able to enlighten us on this quite quickly.

Also your obviously quite a passive person, but I'm clearly much more impatient hence the differing opinions.

However forums such as this (as in life generally) would be quite boring if we were all of the same ilk, would it not?

Re: Kent buy a win, 23/10/21 15:00 Gillingham (h)

Worthy you said 'Not sure what Evatt can proactively do, if we're out of RB's and the transfer window is shut?' like you know what's going on behind the scenes i.e. BWFCI like. which is why I said what I said in regards to being wise, ITK etc. IMO we can't afford to do fcuk all for 3-4 months withou...

Re: Kent buy a win, 23/10/21 15:00 Gillingham (h)

Ok lets just keep playing Brockbank for the next 3-4 months and do fcuk all - I'd rather bring in an unfit experienced RB than play Brockbank, but then again what do I know, Worthy is obviously far more wise, patient & ITK than I'll ever be. Drama and it's not even Saturday! :-) If he has a RB on a...

Re: Kent buy a win, 23/10/21 15:00 Gillingham (h)

At times I find a lot of what Evatt says very strange, sometimes its as if he's not close to one or two things going on at the club - I'm sure that we have space in the squad for another player (if required) as a replacement for Jones (admittedly not fully fit) but we could actually bring someone in...

Re: Kent buy a win, 23/10/21 15:00 Gillingham (h)

I suspect that this will be the lowest home league crowd of the season, a game that they simply can't afford to lose to avoid this season completely going downhill. Scoring 1st is so important & the defence need to start defending & stop pissing about passing sideways for 90 mins - defend 1st play 2...

Re: Plymouth match

It's a bit harsh to criticise FV for doing what they've said they'd do. They have provided funds to strengthen every window, they've invested in backroom to improve recruitment (and rectified a big mistake in phoenix, for whom i.blame Peter fecking Kenyon) Unfortunately players that looked a good f...

Re: Plymouth match

According to BWFCI who must know SB & FV personally - we won't spend any money on quality players, they won't spend more money on higher wages as along with Evatt they want to do it on the cheap & continue to pay peanuts. Yep, you must be right and clearly they've got shit loads of dosh hanging aro...

Re: Plymouth match

I mean for me the January shopping list is getting longer and longer… two full backs, an MJ clone and a striker… According to BWFCI who must know SB & FV personally - we won't spend any money on quality players, they won't spend more money on higher wages as along with Evatt they want to do it on t...

Re: Plymouth match

I'll say it again we are so predictable to play against, teams in League 1 have worked us out - basically stop Dapo playing and you'll win, we move the ball about so slowly - there is absolutely no tempo or urgency by anyone, its all so ponderous and ineffective and we have no goal threat, we don't ...

Re: Plymouth match

Hugely missing Sarce in midfield. Massively. There is no question anymore. When he’s fit he plays. As does Lee. And MJ. No question. Early season Sheehan gets in my squad. Current season Sheehan definitely not looking up to it. Same goes for Bakayoko. I suspect there's a lack of movement and abilit...

Re: Plymouth match

Dixon, Brockbank, Gordon, Baptiste, Isgrove, Bakayoko are League 2 players at best - its no wonder we are shite, there is a complete lack of quality & professionalism in this team. This level of performance is not acceptable by any Bolton team IMO Not sure Dixon’s done much wrong, tbh. Not necessar...

Re: Plymouth match

What utter abysmal defending for both goals, amateur yet again - who is coaching these defenders. Why the hell do we always concede 1st and come out & play shite for the 1st 15-20 mins of games. The promotion bounce is well & truly over, its back to the absolute shite of the 1st half of last season....

Re: Plymouth match

Unfortunately until we get some better players in during the next transfer window I think that we will continue to struggle as we have over the past few games against teams in the top half of the table, when we beat the L/pool U21's Evatt was saying what a strong squad he has and that he can almost ...

Re: Bolton v the 3.14159265359....eaters 16-10-21

Our football is so predicable, we have no plan B or plan C. Our tactic is pass sideways, sideways, then sideways again, pass back to the keeper - then repeat the same thing several times, then try a long diagonal pass to Dapo and repeat, there was no movement, no one trying to overlap everything was...

Re: Bolton v the 3.14159265359....eaters 16-10-21

We are weak & lack physicality all over the pitch and we get bullied easily - very naive as a team. Personally I thought Wigan didn't really need to get out of 1st gear it was that easy to play against us yesterday.
