Re: We've all come a long way: Crawley (H) Sat 2 Jan @ 3pm
What a difference a goal makes. Would be a much better complexion if we had scored. Had enough shots nearing the end of the match. Seemed like it took the opposition scoring for us to actually get going. We shouldn't have to be one nil down for us to start attacking the opposition at pace. We're goi...

Re: We've all come a long way: Crawley (H) Sat 2 Jan @ 3pm
Seemingly too pedestrian going forward for the most part. Last 5 minutes there's been a notable shift in tempo but we're still suffering from the fullbacks being too deep. We don't want the ball hoofed forward and we're struggling to get any wing play because our wide men are starting so deep. Which...

Is Ricardo Santos the new Zat Knight?
Can be absolutely top drawer at times but at others he's massively suspect?
Either way, today was a damn shame.

Re: Vale of tiers: Port Vale (H), Division Four, Sat 6 Dec @ 3pm
Well, disallowed goals and hitting the bar probably took the impetus out of our comeback. Bolton at least showed a desire to get back into it. I'm hoping this is an off day and not a guide into how to beat Bolton going forward.

At least it's been interesting. Shocking at times, great at others (the finish for our third for example).

Kioso offside for 4-6. do we dare to dream that we can get something from this?

Re: Vale of tiers: Port Vale (H), Division Four, Sat 6 Dec @ 3pm
I suppose the question of what happens when we play a decent side has been answered. Well and truly discraceful. Not entirely sure we can call Port Vale a decent side. I suspect a lot of this is down to mentality. Everyone is up for it at Vale's end and no-one was up for it at Bolton's end. Both si...

Re: Vale of tiers: Port Vale (H), Division Four, Sat 6 Dec @ 3pm
Definitely a first watching four subs coming out. Flat back four would've been beneficial here to counter the threat against Kioso. Vale are pushing high and wide and we're doing the same with our wingbacks leaving a massive gap. Last thing we want is another drubbing in the same manner as the Accr...

This is a disgraceful performance. Did Bolton have their christmas party last night thinking we were gonna piss this match?

Re: Man up if you wanna go up. Bradford City (H). EFL League 2. 7pm KO
When was the last time Jak Hickman got on the field? Peter am has been quality don’t get me wrong but feel for the lad as he was looking decent! I'm in the same frame of mind here. Seems like a clear indication that Evatt wanted quality of delivery brought in and Kioso seems like a very astute acqu...

Re: Haven't Seen You Her-Bi-Vore. Inaugural Meat-ing. Forest Green Rovers (H) Sat 12/09/20 15:00 (Division 4)
Seemed like the whole passing game went out the window today in favour of a more route one approach. I suspect that Evatt is not setting the team out to do that and it's gone against his wishes somewhat. Understandably the players are warning to change it up given the last two results and everyone ...

Re: Closed Doors - Episode One: The Bantam Menace - Bradford C (H), 3:00pm, 05/09/20 (League Cup)
I was happy to see improvement today. Some sloppy mistakes at the back which we were rightly punished for, vast majority of the game I thought we were the ones in control. No real cutting edge up front sadly, seemed like an exercise in ball retention and not one of putting it in the net. Given time ...

Hard not to like the sentiments that he's coming out with. Definitely impressing so far and seems like the most sensible and progressive manager we've had for quite some time.
