Re: What are you watching tonight?

"Definately" a let-down as T.V Police procedurals go. Supposedly based on real life cases it promised a thunderflash and delivered a sparkler. So disappointed, "No comment" Everyone's got a theory on everything when it comes to anything to do with L-o-D, and I'm no different. I've been entertaining...

Re: Tonight's Football

Absolutely behind their right to protest - as fans of other clubs, including my own, have, but a step too far today. Idiots. Not that I expect much from United fans. Notwithstanding anyone's right to protest, what we have here is a bunch of thugs rallying against the intricacies of their club's fin...

Well that was crap.
Don't want to ruin it for those who haven't seen it yet, but yeah, that was a disappointingly weak ending, I thought.

Last episode of Line of Duty. Unmissable for me...
I'm sure that that 'definately' will come back into play somewhere, Tango. Anyway, we'll see.

Enjoy ;)

Re: Social Media Boycott, Ticket Pricing

Had an email from the club saying that my contract with them is now finished/cancelled and that no further monies will be taken. I've no idea what they have going on behind the scenes or with who, but clearly those of us who pay via DD can't just let this season roll into next this time. Same. I’m ...

Re: The future is hidden from all men and great events hang on small chances: Exeter (H) Sat 1/5/21 @ 3pm

Every club has its share of bellends, but our share seems to be quite large. On the day we played Liverpool in the Rola Cola Trophy Final, me and my mate stood on the bridge over Wembley Way watching the crowds beneath making their way to the stadium when it became apparent to us that we actually h...

No prognosticator me, however, I mentioned earlier in the week the sort who'd be turning up at the stadium yesterday. An absolute embarrassment. https://www.manchestereveningnews.co.uk/news/greater-manchester-news/bolton-wanderers-police-investigate-incident-20510489?fbclid=IwAR3j1bnX_pzt9c4U3wXcszN...

That was, without a hint of hyperbole, the worst defending from a free kick that I've seen in my entire life. Had Evatt paid due respect to the value of set pieces, both attacking and defending, then we'd have walked this league long since.

Why the feck did Santos run in behind Jones leaving all that space open for their lad to pick his spot?

Anyone who's still struggling to get iFollow working - I bought a ticket through the Exeter site. Had to make a new profile but otherwise all fine, just switch audio when it's loaded up.
I've got it by going through the ifollow website.

I'm nervous. I'm nervous because this premature 'job done' feel is clearly getting out of hand and I'm praying that the players don't fall into a similar pattern of misguided belief. Exeter come here needing the three points whilst looking for snookers in a bid to claim a play off spot. Folk are tal...

Re: Where are you going tonight?

Not tonight, but next Friday. Got my Covid vaccine appointment through this evening. Earlier then expected! Not massively looking forward to it, worried about side effects, but I guess it’s better then having Covid! They seem to be cracking through them at a fair pace now! Who’s had there’s?! All o...

I think it's fair to say that we all know the sort who'll be turning up in the main. And for that reason - I'm out 😐

Re: The athletics/running thread

Where’s Leigh exactly? Back at club tonight and there was a Leigh Harrier who has moved down south and was checking out the club. I said I had a few friends in running clubs up there. Nice to hear a northern accent again :) It's a fleapit of a place on the way into Wigan. No, don’t hold back Bruce,...
