Re: What would the gate have been for tomorrow night - normally?

On Bommy Night 1985 we got our lowest ever home league gate, 2,902 against Darlington. What's our lowest (official) league gate at T'Bok, do you know? (whilst you're in the chair ;) ) I know it was a Wimbledon game, but there've been plenty games since with far fewer in as we've slipped, nay rocket...

Re: What would the gate have been for tomorrow night - normally?

For those of us who were there :? , that lowest league crowd was actually in the 3rd division. 35 years ago this Thursday. It was a combination of miserable weather + bonfire night + poor form. We went down to the bottom tier at the end of the following season. Average crowds around that time were ...

Re: Growing a pair at the UniBol. Man(up)sfield at home. Tuesday 3rd Nov 7pm.

At some point in the not too distant future, the spectre of refunds is likely to rear its head Hmmm, not so sure about that. Let us not forget that the majority of STH's, we hear, forfeited a refund at the end of last season for games which didn't happen. I'm not sure how the land lies for either p...

Mansfield haven't won a game yet this season, so we all know what's going to happen.
Winless AND Manager-less too, I hear. Ah well.

Tranmere sack their manager and they're above us. Good omen ?
No press conference yet as far as I'm aware either. Maybe Shazza's preparing a statement?

What keepers are out there on a free? They need to sort this situation as a matter of urgency - Billy the kid is all over the place and doesn’t command his defence at all.

Re: We three kings of Orient (A)re. Saturday 31 @ 15:00

Sorry to say it came from Brocky being outmuscled by their lad, who laid back for an unmarked midfielder (White having tracked too deep) to put another in top bins No defending young Harry from me this time. I can forgive him for being 'caught in two minds ;) ' in front of goal, but not for defendi...

From a 38-year-old.
Oh come, come. A well taken free kick's exactly that. Fair play to the lad.
See my subsequent comment to The Gun.
That one was fecking shocking, however.

Bit harsh on Brockbank, you lot. It wasn't great but it was at a shitty height rising after the bounce.
A terrible decision laughably executed. I wish him all the best but that was awful.
Aye alright. Why didn't he just swivel and hit it like that Van Basten bloke? ;)

Re: We three kings of Orient (A)re. Saturday 31 @ 15:00

I'm yet to see Hickman...deliver a cross beyond the first opposition player in the box. Honestly, I find that surprising. He's put in some absolutely superb crosses. Can only go off what I've seen, Chief (I'm guessing you've probably seen more of him than I have). Thus far I've found him to be incr...

Wouldn't be dreading Hickman getting a kick (although Kioso been better for me, Hickman wasn't bad). Hmmm. Hmmmmmm. I'm yet to see Hickman take on a defender or deliver a cross beyond the first opposition player in the box. Far from impressed with this lad to press, however, the night is still youn...
