Re: What are you reading tonight?
I have nothing against Prince Harry - In fact, I think the treatment he and his wife have received in the media is nothing short of diabolical. However, I give about as much of a shit about what he has to say about anything, as he does me. Same with his brother, or his Dad (whoever that is) Indeed....

If it helps I've seen him twice. Once at the London 02 for 'The Wall' which was simply magnificent. The last time was him alone in Hyde Park which was a selection of Floyd and Solo stuff. What should have been a celebration of some of the best music ever written (IMO) turned into a political rally ...

Blood donations. I'll be as brief as I can. I have been a Blood Donor for some time now. I am proud to have donated over 30 times. Earlier last year I was diagnosed as having Exercise Induced Bronchial Constriction, a condition which made me cough violently during exercise. I was prescribed two type...

Jesus H Christ! I've just been reading about something I've never heard of before, MAiD in Canada and the reasons and it's not only terminal illness why folk are turning to it. It's fcuking scary. After googling MAiD on my work's computer and scrolling through various iterations (which would defini...

I guess this thread covers podcasts too. I've only recently got in to listening to them, so any recommendations, gratefully received. Anyway, today on the drive back up from darn sarf, I've been listening to 'Acid Dream'. The blurb - Acid Dream: The Great LSD Plot Radio Wales In the 1970s it’s esti...

If you want me to put a training programme together, including proper warm up and cool down sessions, I'd be happy to. Back to basics. It'd help me too as I've just taken a Leader in Running Fitness course and I could use you two for practice. Sounds good. Make it we three test-cases as M...

A month on and not much changed. Missed Knutsford but managed Leeds Abbey Dash (in Biblical conditions I may add) but am now having trouble with the other leg. Pulled up short on a run last night. Hope I can sort it for the weekend when I'm up for a 5km race in Bromley Cross. Anybody else getting o...

Re: Where are you going tonight?
Thursday I'm off to see a play. The Final Problem. Loosely based around the Sherlock Holmes story it's a narrative by Doctor Watson. Mrs GtE loves Murder Mysteries and especially Sherlock Holmes so I hope it's good. My daughter is a total Conan Doyle and Agatha Christie fan and Holmes is her favour...
