A day at the seaside is on for me and Domingos.

Few scoops at the Kursaal, watch the lads get battered, few more scoops, brawl along the Esplanade, do me brains in the casino, 14 days locked in our bedrooms...

If you'd told 10 year old me how much I'd grow to love Diego Simeone I would not have fecking believed you.

I was in Westward Ho! the day Beckham flicked his petulant boot. I warmed to him a tad back then, Rag an' all that.

Re: Don the tin helmets and Plough on regardless, AFCW (A) 7/3/2020 3pm9

How's Oxford away looking after tonight? Still possible, I think, but it may depend on us winning every game (to get to 41pts) and every single team above us losing every remaining game. Except AFC Wombles v Tranmere on Sat 21 Mar, where we would "need" a draw (but I'm tempted to go along and suppo...

Re: Don the tin helmets and Plough on regardless, AFCW (A) 7/3/2020 3pm9

Mulling the southend trip in a few weeks. On the way back from MK Dons, the Mighty Flanners said he'd do that one "If we're gonna go down at it". Which is an interesting idea. A day at the seaside is on for me and Domingos. Few scoops at the Kursaal, watch the lads get battered, few more scoops, br...

Well at least you got the date format right.

How the hell can anyone hope to find an old match thread if folk type in all kinds of nonsense!

Covid-19 might just mean you don't have to worry long about a literal world.

I certainly don't want to catch that again!

Re: General Chit Chat

Neil ain't so bad. As an illustration of what's wrong with this nation the state of the roads does it for me. Currently the world's sixth largest economy, yet driving in Kent you could be forgiven for thinking you were in Beirut. It's like a third world country. Pot holes have been an issue for a go...

Knowing that everyone loves Genesis, today I'm happy about scoring 2 tickets for their first tour since 2007! :-) Turn it on again. My bank on the other hand isn't half as happy :-( They were my favourite band through puberty, saw them live several times. ...And then There Were Three... was the las...

Re: Today I'm neither Angry nor Happy about....

Tomorrow I'm off for my usual week in the Caribbean sun. Normally, I'd be happy but this corona virus stuff makes one a little nervous about travel. Being nearly as old as Tango I'm in the at risk category, but I've had a good innings. I even saw us win the FA Cup (on tv). You've got cases i...
