Abimbola being our only outlet. Even the commentator had forgotten Collins was playing. Incredible that we're level at HT, defend like that in the 2nd half and we're going to need to score 4 just to get a point.

Sharples-Ahmed seems to be struggling. Commentator referring to our 'shaky backline'.

Our passing is awful. Decision making is worse. Feel sorry for those who've driven over for this today. We could be 4 down already.

Re: Schu me the way to Amarillo - Summer 2025 Transfer Thread

Lots depends on who we can shift out and/or sell on but I'll be happy to see the bag of bits replaced with a bunch of bastards. Uncompromising centre half, centre mid and target man being the absolute bare minimum. I've not much idea of anyone else's players these days but could we tempt The Juke or...

Re: Womens football

They won 3-0. I was quite impressed. Some decent individual skill on show and they all looked comfortable on the ball. 2000+ on.

Re: Here Wycombe again. At home to the other Wanderers. V the high flyers, Friday 18th Apr, 3-0 Clock.

I've every faith in Schumacher, like the cut of his jib and post match analysis but I'd like to see more evidence on the pitch, of his coaching methods bearing fruit. They're not his players, we've a full injury list but I'm still seeing us concede goals like the 1st one on Friday - set piece, is Co...

Not sure I've been less enthused about a Wanderers fixture than this for some time. That night match a few years back, post covid, big Wanderers following and a Sarcevic winner seems so so long ago and the happy optimism long since vanished.

0-2

Re: Here Wycombe again. At home to the other Wanderers. V the high flyers, Friday 18th Apr, 3-0 Clock.

Well that was a long, miserable, wet walk home. I've no idea what we're trying to do up top. There's no width, nothing in the middle, zero creativity and most worryingly, no spirit. The usual, useless ref could have added 90 minutes injury time, we were never scoring. Think that's as bad as I've see...

Some of our players don't appear to have much fight in em, no point in us supporters giving up too. Blind, ridiculous optimism is sometimes all we have as Wanderers fans. 5-1 win

Re: Here Wycombe again. At home to the other Wanderers. V the high flyers, Friday 18th Apr, 3-0 Clock.

I'll tip my hat to Wycombe. Always liked them since that emotional opening day fixture, even when some of Ainsworth's gamesmanship really grated in later fixtures. They've lost a couple of really good players and their manager mid season and yet are still up there, a thorn in Netflix's side. As for ...

Re: Yorkshire Relish. Away to Barnsley Sat Apr 12th 3-0'clock.

My worry re Schumacher is if he can see how lightweight our midfield/team are, how come Matete hasn't been able to get a start? My money is on Schuey knowing how Matete and Lolos play and having gotten rid of them at a previous club they're probably not overly in consideration for the future squad ...

Re: Yorkshire Relish. Away to Barnsley Sat Apr 12th 3-0'clock.

The melodrama is what's embarrassing. Owners putting in a million a month to keep a club that nearly went bust running. Doing their best. Obviously plenty of mistakes and performances on the pitch haven't been good enough. But it's competition. Everyone else is trying to do the same thing. Accounta...

Re: Yorkshire Relish. Away to Barnsley Sat Apr 12th 3-0'clock.

It's a good point Wrighty. I was of the belief, just get in the play offs and see what happens. Last seasons promoted duo, Pompey and Derby both missed out on the play offs the year before. Last seasons beaten 3, Us, Barnsley and Peterborough have all had shocking seasons. It's probably grasping at ...

Re: Yorkshire Relish. Away to Barnsley Sat Apr 12th 3-0'clock.

The away end hasn't been roofless for a while has it? I've not been there for years but it always looks like a roof on there from games on the box.

Could be anything this. If we play like we did on Tuesday we'll win, if we sink back to Evatt ball we'll lose. I'll be optimistic and say 2-1 win.
