Bank Charges
I keep reading about folk who have been overdrawn getting their penalty charges refunded when they write to their banks to complain. Something to do with a change in legislation where if banks cant demonstrate how their fees were calculated it made the charges unlawful :conf: Does anyone know if thi...

I remember Budgies in the Arndale  I'd forgot all about them. Being dragged round the shops by my mum on a Saturday (before I was old enough to go to Burnden with mi dad) the budgies were the only highlight. As for the Odeon I remember being turned away from the Blue Lagoon for not being old...

I remember them beating us 3-0 on Boxing day at the 'Bok a few years ago when Fowler scored all three and Gerbil Diaorreah was given the runaround their fans were singing "We're going to Europe, you're going to Rotherham" What goes around comes around :P Still think West Ham was funnier because it w...

Aside from football I cant think of any other profession (other than Minicab drivers) where black or Asian people make up such a high percentage of an overall workforce. I dont think football has anything to be ashamed of. The comparison between Keane & Ince is ludicrous. Ince probably could have ha...

Of live stage productions have to say "Miss Saigon" was really impressive. Not a particularly jolly topic, but really well done with two amazing tiny kids who shared the workload for one spot over a week. The helicopter landing was terrific for live theatre. Anybody see this one? I saw it on Broadw...

I can see what Batmans getting at here. He is a quality footballer but in an England shirt has everybody forgotten that he'd become a bit of a joke? I remember 'When Saturday Comes' doing a piece about how in his previous 20 games for England his biggest contribution was a quick throw in! A good foo...

Horrible views IMO. All I can say is i agree with the general consensus in this thread' Pets are great. Dogs and Cats become part of the family and it hurts big time when you lose a pet'. Got a feeling Batty is on this thread for wind-up value Dax. Don't lead him on. Seconded. Batman & CAPS ...

In two words; utter rubbish. And this is our national side? A fortnight too slow, couldn't pass water and made to look ametuerish by a less than wonderful side. Ferdinand out, square-pass, back-pass or opponent pass. This guy wouldn't warrant ninety pounds a week, never mind ninety grand. Duck-feet...

If I were to go to any country in the world, I would expect to have to have to fit in and conform to that countries traditions. I would not expect a whole country to change over to my traditions, but sadly this is what is happening in GREAT BRITAIN Today. Would that include changing your religion? ...

Easy solution put it in the bin. The local BNP part member that is.. not just the leaflet. I wonder if these idiots are big enough to walk around the streets of places like Longsight and hand out the leaflets in person No they're not. We had a few delivered round our way a while ago (just at a time...
