but we're very much in the same territory as Evatt was touting. Doesn't matter if we change the manager, Evatt never was short of an opinion but he was hoisted by his own petard with that one. "You can't expect anyone else to do something with this weak willed, under performing bunch I've recruited!"

it's worth noting that Etete was signed with Schumacher's approval after Evatt's departure. But I doubt we'll go for him again in summer... Bloody hell DSB! If we do, it'll make the Nlundulu signing look like the perfect example of due diligence! Off the pitch only Mario Jardel looked less like a f...

Dempsey post game said, "We have to win all our remaining games." It won't happen, but this squad, for all its failings and injuries, is capable of that.

Well it's the ref who sends Rico off so that's fun. And the other one who hates us is 4th official. With the risible Steve Evans no longer on the opposition bench, it's a lost opportunity to water down that hatred! I'd like to see Lolos start tonight and Etete given a proper go off the bench. Tough...

I've no real concerns re Randall. The lad can play and deserves our full support. He's certainly suffering by association- Evatts last and inexplicable signing - but that doesn't mean he won't have a part to play. SS seems to trust him more than Matete or Lolos right now

Recent away performances against this lot have been much better than our home performances but still only 1pt to show for it. We'll lose this. Just because we always find a way to when it's a derby and a big away following. 0-1

Forgot to say @Mar that throw in aberration you referred to, was Carlise away last season. Outrageous to allow their goal to stand.

Came home from Blackpool, disappointed once again. Think we deserved a point but we really don't help ourselves. 2 poor goals to concede and nowhere near clinical enough when we were near their box.

Hope you're soon better TD and a Wanderers win helps that recovery :D

Can't say I'm particularly optimistic for this one given our last two and our record here but it's Wanderers and you just never know.

Re: Taking Stock; A visit from the neighbours. V Hatters, Sat, 15th Mr. 12-30.

That’s the problem in a nutshell with the team. Too many are too soft. And then there are too many mistakes too. Toal has an error in him. Like that one. Then we don’t have enough fighters who will just take a yellow or put a tough challenge in for the team. Goal was very very soft to concede and f...

Re: Living La Vida Loca..Away to Burton on Toast, Sat 8th March

The God's of football long ago decreed that we'd always struggle at Bury, Bristol City, Derby, Rotherham and Blackpool. Somehow Burton got chucked into the mix as well. It's hard not to admire them when you see the set up. Incredible that they have not only a football league side in the town but one...

Schumacher's found their collective bollocks.

We can beat this lot. I'm hoping the different approach and mentality that SS appears, so far, to have brought with him, gives us a chance. Our approach in the reverse fixture, where we looked beaten before we even kicked off, was Evattball at its worst.

I'll go for a highly optimistic 1-0 win.

Re: No welcome in the Hillsides. Away to Wrexham Sat 1 March 12-30.

Proper football game. A great point for us against one of the Divisions top and well financed team with a good manager playing at home. We earned this point. Could have won it in the end but their keeper made a top top save from Collins to turn that around the post. I thought it was well struck and...

Though this to me misses the point. It’s quaint calling Truss an over promoted milk monitor. Though somewhat a steal I suspect from Spicer. But still. However the folks that influenced truss - the real bad folks are still at large. Spreading their economic nonsense and bile. Unchecked. Frequently g...

Reading about Truss and Farage getting their heads patted by the US, I wondered why they don't just move there - then I remembered Trump and Elon will grift all the cash over there, so they're gonba have to grift it in a much smaller pond. Did we really leave the EU to copycat the US on a worse foo...

Re: Better "Late on" than never. A visit from the Orient. Sat 22 Feb 3-0'clock.

I was sad to see Randy go. At his best, a fast, exciting winger who chipped in with a few goals. He had that long throw too, that obviously under Evatt we weren't allowed to see but would be capable of causing panic in a shaky defence. However, this season I saw him put in two of the worst performan...
