I managed to get the stream on i follow via my pass. I'd be happy to continue watching this way from what I saw. Having read some of the posts we have a mixed review. Early days, give them time et al et al. If Evatt doesn't address that defence, Bolton will drop from the EFL. That team is simply not...

Whilst we're on the topic of i follow, what is required to watch the game. I have a firestick where I can access i follow but the Colchester game wouldn't work as many found out. The Forest Green game was ok but that buffered quite a lot. As a Season ticket holder I have the pass for the Newport gam...

Re: Pies in administration
In my neck of the woods I'm surrounded by Wiggin fans, all quite confident the EFL will over turn their 12 point deficit. They can get the best lawyers there are but it won't be over turned. The EFL are one ruthless organisation. Now having been the target of these pie men when Bolton were going thr...

Re: Summer 2020 transfers
With the amount of quality signings I feel the club are going for a double promotion. FV seem to be quite keen on arming the new manager with the weapons needed for both bottom two leagues. This season will be quite fun.

Re: Pies in administration
Wigan fans can protest as much as they like because this EFL are ruthless. I know several Wigan fans who have not only given Bolton fans and myself some stick when we went into admin but, were bloody abusive and showed genuine hate. What goes around comes around. I was talking to a fan this morning...

Re: The Keith Hill out thread
Now the guessing begins. I can see an appointment from within as opposed to a new man. David Lee has been linked many times, maybe his time has come. Personally I'd like someone with good experience, someone that knows the lower leagues and with good relations with other clubs. At least who ever bec...

Maybe the club could revive, "My world is a football" I actually have that on a CD.

Re: The Keith Hill out thread
Wasn't Allardyce quite an inexperienced manager at the time we appointed him? we also gave him a ten year contract.

Re: New ownership - Football Ventures
I think all Bolton fans want a quick fix but it will need a lot of luck and some half decent players. I was very anti Hill and Flitcroft, still am to a degree but, I can't see who could come in and sign a team to compete in league 2. I'm leaning towards Hill and his capabilities to sign out of contr...

Re: The Keith Hill out thread
As much as it pains me to say "stick with Hill", we've been down the "young hungry manager" road before and it doesn't normally produce the best results.. This is one hell of an important season coming up, the club needs someone with a bit more experience than someone without. No doubt at some point...

Re: COVID-19/20 season
There will be an announcement soon to call all leagues null and void. Some will be happy and others wont be. As for claims? I can't see how anyone can sue because the season becomes void, especially when a pandemic is the reason. Should the season begin again in August, I'm sure the EFL have a littl...

Re: COVID-19/20 season
Indeed. A difficult decision has to be made. No matter what the outcome, someone will be more upset than the other. We all know Covid isn't going away quickly. If anymore Countries decide to call it a day, the more pressure on the PL to follow suit. One thing for sure, we know life isn't going to be...

Re: COVID-19/20 season
If the season does continue there's going to be claims galore, especially if any of the players come down with Covid. Resume or declare the season void will cause problems either way. Money at all cost regardless of safety.
The final decision should come from the PM not the PL.

Re: COVID-19/20 season
Looks like the French have cancelled their season yet, the Premier league seems hell bent on completing theirs. There is such little time to complete all those games plus, players will be out of contract. The best the Prem and EFL can do is declare this season void. There will be disappointments amo...

Re: COVID-19/20 season
6 June mooted as a possible date for the season to resume. Completing the outstanding games, including the play-offs (spoiler: we miss out), within 56 days takes us to 31 July. My personal opinion is this season will resume with just the play offs and the current positions being accepted as final. ...

Re: COVID-19/20 season
The longer this virus lingers the longer football will remain absent. There are many clubs treading water and worried for their survival in these current climes. Who will be the first club to announce they're experiencing financial problems. There are too many clubs relying on the money from TV righ...

Re: COVID-19/20 season
I have no doubt this season is over and will probably struggle to begin a new one in August. I read earlier that amateur leagues have been called void which gives my home Town club Atherton colls another chance at the Northern prem. As yet, nothing has been mentioned whether the Premier League or th...
