Re: Contracts: the summer juggle
You'd rather keep Vela there? Can we afford another? Wouldn't money be better spent at CB? :conf: Jesus Christ yes! Ream has made a passable attempt at being a LB, helped by the contrast with his own woeful attempts at being a CB and Moxey's woeful attempts at being a footballer. And he's got no ri...

Is this a wind up???Vertigo wrote:Threlkeld seems to have fallen off the radar. Hopefully he isn't going to be following Riley.
I think I've said it a few times before, but I hope Kellett will challenge for that left back position next season. Then we can chuck Ream on the right and put Vela in the midfield.

Is there only me on here that feels rather indifferent? :? More "interested" than "passionately caring". Intrigued to see who he picks, whether Rochinha continues to tear shit up, whether Cravies can get back to form, whether we can ever win again, &c. I suppose we Bolton fans aren't very practised...

Re: No one likes them, do we care? Millwall Home.
Further credit to Lennon for not putting Trotter on - the sight of him lumbering down the touchline put the wind up me - I said to my daughter that I had never boo'd a Bolton player on to the field but I would make an exception in his case. Did you leave early? naah - never done that - nor have I e...

Re: No one likes them, do we care? Millwall Home.
Credit to Lennon for taking Danns off at half time - he was very liable to get sent off the way he was diving into challenges which were brought on by his own clumsiness in falling over the ball when running with it. Further credit to Lennon for not putting Trotter on - the sight of him lumbering do...

Can we think up some chants for use as we go into second half stoppage time? Somebody said we had conceded in 5 of our last 9 matches so my brain is trying to work something out with Dolly Parton's thing - "shipping 5 in 9" etc... I'm definitely losing the plot

Wasn't born until 1951 but my dad and granddad were there - they didn't know anyone had been killed until they got home and mum and grandma were stood at the front door panicking - not sure how they'd found out about it - don't suppose Tower FM were going in them days

Re: The Winter Hill Tale-Brighton home.
Impressed with Amos - some good saves and not afraid to b*llock those in front of him when needed. Hope he keeps the shirt tomorrow. Wheater excellent. Danns too liable to get caught in possession p*ssing around. Think Lennon got a bit lucky when Feeney had to come off as McNaughton is a "proper" ri...

Oh, might as well throw this in here - I've got bugger all chance of getting to Saturday's game. I still haven't been forgiven for taking the missus to the Atletico match on Valentines Day - did the Exec Silver Service bit as well. Bugger all chance of me gaining a foothold to see Watford. :-) You ...

Re: We've got Nat. Don't bring Michael Jackson...Fulham Home
Classic game of two halves. Could have been 3 down at half time - marking empty spaces - no challenges going in - Feeney running his b*llocks off putting crosses in without success and Janko looking lost and getting nowhere against their full back until his pull back to Eidur. No atmosphere at all i...

Re: We've got Nat. Don't bring Michael Jackson...Fulham Home
Do I detect a lack of enthusiasm for this one?? (the match - not the thread title). Tower FM said that our record against Fulham over the last 4 matches is scored 0 - conceded 12. I can't remember anything at home but 0-0 draws for years. I'm beginning to lose interest myself - but will still be the...

If they were then it's best left until he's leaving the pitch - then it's obvious what the booing's about.Dave Sutton's barnet wrote:Maybe they were booing the ref for all the added time?

Re: 'He's mad that trusts in the tameness of Wolves'. Wolves
I didn't hear any booing. was that because you'd left five minutes before the end? Nope, I don't do that. Don't see the point. Me neither - I agree with Coffeemagic - stuff 'em. Just frustrates me that we have "supporters" that boo just because we didn't win - why can't they be the ones that...
