Re: High Noon in Wigan. Away at the Piedrome.,Sat,-2-04-22. 12-30 kick-off.

Trafford
Jones
Santos
Aimson
Johnston
Sadlier
Williams
Morley
Afolayan
Kachunga
Charles

Is the line up. Not entirely sure of the formation though, could be 4-3-3 or the usual 5 at the back with Sadlier LWB and Jones RWB

Re: Back on track or up the Junction.? V Crewe away, Sat19th Mar. 3-0'clock.

Tempted to go for back 4 with Senior, since Jones is not back till Monday. Then move Dapo back to his original left wing position. Then two from Charles/DadBod/Baka/Kachunga for the CF and Right wing slots.

Re: "Not necessarily in the right order" .Home v Morecambe, Tuesday, March 8th, 8-0'clock

We do seem to really struggle to play from the back against these type of teams too many times, it would start from the keeper, the wing backs would bomb on too far, Johnston and Santos would play a few sideways passes between themselves before going back to the keeper and slowly putting pressure on...

Another defence mistake, how many now? This is too perfect for Morecambe, the one thing we didn't want is them leading and now sitting back further.

Aye, it's their gameplan.
Evatt rises to it too much, literally we are a 10 times better than these shrimps. He doesn't need to always kick off back just because someone said something to him.

I feared for this game with the weather. Same as Fleetwood, Plymouth.. We look clueless at how to play in these conditions other than to punt it to Bodvarsson and hope.

Bodvarsson, Dempsey, Sadlier and Aimson given a chance here to stake a claim in the first 11... Just awful.

Re: Can we Endeavour to solve the Oxford Puzzle? Away to The Uni, Sat 12 Feb, 3-0'clock.

In this run in we had to get results against our 6 "promotion rivals." We've beaten both Sunderland and Oxford. We still need to beat at least two of MK Dons, Plymouth, Portsmouth and Sheff Weds - only MK Dons is away. We've also got to go away to Wigan. In each of those "rivals" cases we basically...

Re: January 2022 Transfer Thread

It is a shame we couldn't get any money from the sale. Both of Evatt's first two signings and arguably biggest signings of Summer 2020 (Doyle and Sarcevic) leaving to inferior clubs and leagues for nothing.

Not expecting much today but hoping we put in a performance to help shake the "fair weather" footballer attitude we shown the last few months. Assuming Kachunga, Senior, Santos and Johnston will be involved since they appear to be covid free appearing in media posts over the Christmas period. Intere...

Fleetwood are playing Accrington away tomorrow. Let's hope for a hard game on a heavy pitch to tire them out.
They lost 5-1 to Accrington today with 10 men after 23 minutes, looks like you got your wish!

Re: Dem Bones, Dem Bones, Dem Bare Bones....

How’s our medical department compare to the rest of the league? Is it purely bad luck or have we pushed it by running with low numbers behind the scenes? Oxford have 7 out with Covid including their only fit goalkeeper which was enough to call their match on Saturday off. Very much temporary absenc...

Evatt confirming in the post match interview that Gethin has a fractured fibula so is out for a while, which is really bad news considering the right side performance today.
