Aren't Liverpool an established Prem side too? It's not that long since City were in Div One and I do recall Spurs being 19th or 20th the day 'Arry took over. Mind you, I do seem to also recall being at WHL that day and seeing them beating some northern team......

Re: Best Bolton Game
The Reading game and the Cup win at Arsenal are my best two. The League Cup semi win v Swindon (3-1 down on agg with 15 mins to go) must have pretty special too, although I only made the away leg.

He lives not a million miles from me in SE London. I remember my wife coming home from a local pub a few years back and telling me that a referee - "I think he was called Barry Knight, do you know him?" - had drawn the raffle. It was all she could do to stop me legging it down there to chin him!!

£35?? I thought this would be a £20 pay at the gate job. Is this the one the club should subsidise - say £10 off - to start to make amends for "that" game?

Re: Fulham on Sunday - FA Cup
i had a ticket, couldn't go, found a new owner... how was our turnout? Happy, i know, but numbers? :D I would have thought about 1,000 or so? more than I expected given the short time between this round and the last one. And a great noise to boot! Who was the wanderer reading the financial times at...

Pre-season friendly against Lyngby in Denmark in July 2000. A beautiful summer's afternoon, with an endless supply of beer and hot dogs from a van parked at the top of the terrace. A trip to the so-called free state of Cristiana the previous day for smoking "supplies" ensured a mellow mood.... Team ...
