It obviously didn't work out for him abroad: http://www.skysports.com/story/0,19528,12876_6379236,00.html Quote: "St Mirren manager Danny Lennon has invited trialist Aaron Mooy back to the club for a further look. Academy - U 18's

Good to see that the U18's academy side have started the season well, 4 straight wins, looks like the coaching team of David Lee and Tony Kelly are getting the lads playing well.

:D

As we know Cahill's sending off wouldn't have happened if the ref had blown up for the foul on CYL just seconds earlier BUT he didn't and Cahill's challenge was reckless. I don't expect the ban to be changed and it does leave him open to further matches being added. Fingers crossed for a satisfactor...

Chung Yong Lee contract

It's reported he's signed a new 3 year contract, good news as anyone coming in for him will have to bid a goodly sum of money. :D

From what I read James didn't want to move his family from their home in Devon, which rather limits the clubs that are within travelling distance. He said he was very close to joining Plymouth a couple of seasons ago. Quote: "I've had offers to stay in the Premier League but it is more important tha...

I'm nervous to ask, but does anyone know anything of his current state of health? From what I understand from speaking to Mr Gartside a few months ago, physically he's fine for his age but unfortunately perhaps many years of heading the old leather case balls (like a cannonball when wet) seems to h...

Can't listen to it at work so I'll check it later. Incidentally, why is he wearing what looks like a Wolves shirt under his tracky-top? Possibly one he swopped with his England team mate, Billy Wright? For a couple of seasons it was our second shirt in case of clashes, no such things as an"away shi...

Report in today's BN says that we will be entitled to compensation for Mooy when he gets fixed up: "Wanderers, meanwhile, will receive compensation if Aaron Mooy joins another top-flight club in Europe. The Australian playmaker has severed his ties with Bolton after rejecting a new contract at the e...

Good article here sums up my thoughts about Mooy as well, he was a very good prospect but certainly last season in the reserves didn't impress as much. Good luck to him. http://blogs.soccernet.com/boltonwanderers/archives/2010/07/aaron_mooy_leaves_bolton.php Original 4 4 2 article: The 19-year-old A...

If he gets the job at least he'll come off our wage bill as I understand we're still paying him as an agreement to terminate his contract couldn't be reached.

I'm sorry to see that old "sun bed" has been relieved of duties at Hull and is now on "gardening leave". Of course the old favourites of Curbishly, Southgate, Souness and now Megson are in the frame to take over.

I wish him all the best at Blackburn, except when they play us. Without Big Sam Bolton would not be in the premiership, he may have left us in the lurch but no one can deny that the previous 6 or 7 seasons with him were far better than anyone could have imagined.
Good luck Sam
