Re: Abide with us...v Plymouth Argyle Sunday 2nd April 3-O'clock WEMBLEY
Amazing day - some great memories made, and some long lingering demons put to bed. Plymouth didn't turn up at all, but my god we put in a performance. Can't fault a single one of our players - we were immense all over the pitch. Special shouts for me to Kacha, Bradley & Santos, and of course Dempsey...

For me. Worried about John. Worried about up front.
I’m pretty struggling to make much of a case that we can win this game.

Re: I see no ships; only hardships. V Pompey away, Tues 28th Feb. 7-45.
I wrote a whole thing, but who cares after a game like that. We took the excuses available and didn't show up. If either of the big lads was fit enough to start then Evatt got it wrong, if not (and regardless) the players on the pitch didn't get close. I expected a reaction today following the indi...

Guess where I was at DTM. is Bradley - yes he's a starter. The others there's probably a case either way based on options we have. Thomason was a shoo-in when he got injured, but then Morley hadn't hit overdrive, and Dempsey was hot and cold. Last few games, you'd probably say Thomason was playing ...

If Evatt can't outgun their clown then I shall become concerned. Despite eight absentees? I'm assuming our 8 are: Bradley, Iredale, Thomason, Isgrove, Williams, Bod, Dan and Kacha? If so, 2 are back - Randy & Dan. Do with the exception of Bradley, and having had a couple of weeks with no midweek fi...

The narrative in the annual accounts - including the KPIs - are largely meaningless statements that have to be put in to meet the requirements of said accounts. They tend to be bland statements to achieve the bare minimum that the auditors will accept in signing the accounts. I wouldn't pay any atte...

the parking system is terribly implemented - so much so that I'm amazed its an actual car park company doing it and not just the club winging it. I drive every time we come to watch as I live out of the area. I was always annoyed, but comfortable with the cost of £8 as it was easier with the kids to...

It's mad. The added time at the world cup is one of the few recent changes from FIFA that made sense and worked and it seems to have disappeared. You don't need to fanny around with shot clocks or 60 min games. There's already a mechanism.. Just use it. They also need to sort players taking the pis...

At the game on Saturday there was the incident where the chap was off the pitch injured and signalled to his bench that he was done. As we all saw he then came back on to the pitch and lay down, thereby wasting more time. Now I can't actually state this but had that chap already been booked ? And i...

Re: January 2023 Transfer Window
So, assuming that's us done for this window (both ins and outs), how do we all feel about it? By my reckoning, I think it leaves us with: IN - Jerome, Adeboyejo, Shoretire, Mbete, Williams, Nlundulu OUT - Sadlier, Aimson, Bakayoko, Dapo (plus Bod's injury I guess) And if we're counting Bod as an "ou...

Re: January 2023 Transfer Window
I could be/probably am wrong, but I'm wondering whether GJ is out for a number of weeks, and we've called our new fwends at Citeh and asked them if they've got any left-footed centre halves anywhere out on loan, who might not be playing as much as they'd like, who might want to come and keep Traffor...

Re: Will Lancashire triumph at Happy Valley? Charlton (A), Saturday, 28 January, 12:30pm
Why are people under the impression Declan John is one of our big earners? Surely he was signed as a midtable league two player looking for promotion so would be part of the budget for that. Maybe Evatts desire for top drawer wing back talent stands him in good stead but can't imagine he'd be one o...

Re: Will Lancashire triumph at Happy Valley? Charlton (A), Saturday, 28 January, 12:30pm
The injuries, I really hope, are just minor and are being protected. Shoretire, looked to kick the underneath of the Charlton defender. He got up and tried to carry on but we all know they can be small breaks or hairline fractures. I'm baffled with Johnston, he got a knock on the head and was compl...

Re: January 2023 Transfer Window
To be fair gents, we probably/might have no choice here.
Its all well and good to be unenthused, but - through no fault of our own - we are desperate and not in a strong position.
Its very easy to criticise, but i haven't seen many alternatives put forward....

On the match - we were fantastic. I'm not overstating that, we were absolutely fecking magnificent. I am livid with Kachunga, but the idea he was a passenger is just people seeing through the lens of their dislike for him. You do not perform as a team like that if everyone on the pitch isn't doing ...
