Oh no, how very sad. Condolences and thoughts with his friends and family.
And also for those who triéd to save him - hard for them to take as well I expect?

Re: Seconds out, Round three. V Accringston away Wed, 10th Jan 7-30
Howdy all, I'm trying a different style of spring in the couch tonight. I really would appreciate if those who have a key to the door could jump on it for the first ten minutes of the game to see if it holds up to the extra weight. If it holds then the rest of the season will be a doddle. Cheers. I...

Re: Who opened the door? My money is on Janus! 2024 January transfer thread.
For me, FWIW, I thought we left ourselves short at the end of the last window and got away with it through a frankly startling run of wins. I don't want us to have to get away with it again. I worry that our first-choice wingbacks are overused, and I worry that without Dion we're dreadfully weak up...

Re: F.A.Cup...V Luton away Sun, 7th Jan 2-0'clock.
I'm sure they've got people who's job is to work this out, but these games always feel like a missed opportunity to me. You've got the attendance on the day, but I think you've also got to think about getting kids hooked. Free kid's ticket with every adult sale or something like that. Christ knows ...

Re: F.A.Cup...V Luton away Sun, 7th Jan 2-0'clock.
Aye - agreed. I'm sure there are people employed at the club who are far better placed to mode this, but just theorising here, but if we charge as proposed we might get, say, 9,000 (complete guess....), which is gate receipts of £150,000 (splitting arbitrarily between adult (5k), over 65 & kids (2k ...

Re: F.A.Cup...V Luton away Sun, 7th Jan 2-0'clock.
I guess on a very simplistic economic basis, to charge a tenner they'd have to be confident of getting twice as many people as at £20 (excluding ancilliary additional income from drinks etc). If they didn't think that was going to be the case - and I can strongly see why this might be - then probabl...

Maybe we could ask our newly-appointed head of sports science, Paul "not that one" Walsh. https://www.theboltonnews.co.uk/sport/24037120.bolton-wanderers-appoint-ex-sunderland-stoke-city-coach/ A graduate of the University of Limerick, no less. Re: Choose the matchday music
Heard Iles discussing this on his podcast, saying there's been "noise" (or actually, lack of...) around the crown about the atmosphere at times at the Reebok. They were citing the flat atmosphere against Burton as a prime example... Personally, I don't think it's that hard to fix. For me, its less a...

There is a chance the couch will be out for Luton! I'll plump up the pillows and get us up and running if I can. How would one get an invitation for a spare seat on said couch? It's as simple as refreshing the page and finding "Click here for the couch" Ah yes. Many thanks..... Thanking you ...

Re: Tall dark strangers at the door. At home to Burton Albion New Years Day 3-0 clock
Burton had no threat and we couldve played for 180 mins and not conceded. Third successive game that our opponents have had a single effort on target. Lincoln and Fleetwood registered the second- and third-lowest xG against us this season (Exeter being the worst), so I'll be interested to see how B...

Not really a cheerup but maybe is as it is on a DVD, I put on the DVD of December 29th 2001 it’s part of the 5 disc set of Reebok Classics This game Vs Leicester City we got 2 players sent off within 28 minutes and conceeded own early goal and another but played well and drawn game 2-2 RobbieSavage...

Great result. Solid performance - should have expected to win given respective league positions, but the added complexity of the weather had the potential to cause an upset. Another professional display by all - no stand out players for me, but equally no disappointments at all. Good to send Geth of...

So you know better than Evatt & Markham then? Our own manager - who lets be honest, is doing OK isn't he? - has come out and said Vic is worth more than what we paid for him, and offers the team so much more than just goals, yet you still think he's cr@p? We're all welcome to our opinions - its wha...
