Re: A taste of honey, or a sting in the beehind? Bolton v Brentford 23/9/2017
Worst I have seen in a while. Couldn't string two passes together and Madine, for all his hard work doesn't look like scoring.
Some say couldn't do much about their goals, bit, if we did have someone in the middle then those goals would not have happened.

Re: A visit from the Pride without Prejudice....
Watched with an open mind but we were simply not good enough. I don't think I need to highlight the problems because there are so many. The main noticeable miss was a Midfield general, someone like Spearing. Which brings me to my only gripe and that was with a group of supporters shouting light abus...

Re: Contract expiry
As it currently stands were a tad thin on playing personnel. Parkinson must have a few irons in the fire regarding additions. I wouldn't rule out a pay as you play for Mark Davies should no club place a risk in him. A similar situation occurred with Wheater.

Re: The Club...
Allardyce was and still is an arrogant tw*t, who thought it was all about him. Having said that I would still shake his hand and thank him for bringing players of the calibre of Okacha, Youri, Hierra, Campo, Speed, Stelios, N'Gotty and Anelka to little old Bolton and giving us the opportunity to tr...

Re: "It is not in the stars to hold our destiny but in ourselves" Bolton vs Posh 30th April
Probably one of the best performances all season saved until last. Looking forward to the Championship with more optimism. Parkinson has one hell of a job to do from now till the start of next season. I'm sure he will do very well with his selection but it all depends on the budget the club can offe...

Re: Time to Bury one and get us out of this league? Home - Tuesday 18th 8.00pm
I never expected the club to be in this position at this stage after all the injuries and off field activities. But,considering the position we were in a few weeks ago I'd have expected promotion. Seems Parkinson has ran out of ideas and the absence of Madine has caused him a few headaches. Last nig...

Said it since before crimbo, we'll be in the play offs and get defeated by Bradford in the final. Only themselves to blame.

Henry could be fit to play on Tuesday, if that is the case then great. Not looking forward to this fixture.

Re: Time to Bury one and get us out of this league? Home - Tuesday 18th 8.00pm
Parkinson needs to start with Long tomorrow because he has the pace needed to get behind the Bury back line. Bury will provide stubborn opponents for a Bolton team losing their last two games. Goals seem to have dried up after their recent scoring spree. Failure to beat Bury will put even more press...

Can't keep relying on the others to mess up.
Bury will show to be another set of stubborn bastards on Tuesday night. Never thought I'd said this but, we miss Madine!!

Re: The countdown- Where will we finish?
Well that was a let down. Said I'd bad vibes about this game. You can be as positive as the rest but in reality this team doesn't work well under pressure and Bury will be another stubborn opponent on Tuesday. This season will go to the very last game and if they fail they have only themselves to bl...

Re: The countdown- Where will we finish?
I have bad vibes about second spot. Oldham won't be an easy ride nor will Bury on Tuesday. Port Vale are trying to avoid the drop so the pressures on us. Our form of late is worrying especially at this stage.
Failure to beat Oldham would be a disaster, then the pressure is really on.

Re: Twas on a Tuesday night the gas man came to call, Bristol (H) 28/02/17 - KO 8pm
Last night saw a Wanderers side outplayed by Bristol. Their number 23 ran the show for Rovers, don't know the guys name but he was the best midfielder I have seen so far this season. So many giving Parkinson some stick for his tactics etc and team selections but all he can do is select from an alrea...

Re: Would it have been better/cheaper to redevelop Burnden P
Burnden was my place of worship since the early 60s but sadly time had caught up with the old ground and would have cost far more to re-develop than to move to a brand new stadium like the Reebok was. As it turned out, we got promoted to the prem on the last game there. Great memories and without th...

Re: Accounts Overdue Window - 2017
It's a comical mess. When Eddie Davies sold the club Anderson and co thought they'd be able to cope, but now they're finding it damn hard. Goes to show what mess Gartside allowed the club to get into.
