Another wife FB update:
Lost for words this morning, Freddie is doing so well the doctors have said he might be able to go home for Christmas, got to get through a few hurdles first but all signs are good. He's having a blood transfusion today which they hope will be his last one

Re: TW Members. Introspection on an Epic scale.
Now there's a grand souvenier for Freddie's album. :oyea: Indeed, but although Freddie's Mum is there I can't see Grunto (unless he dyed his hair darker). So are the two in red sweaters part of the family or random hospital elves? I would imagine Grunto took the picture and the two in the sweaters ...

Re: TW Members. Introspection on an Epic scale.
Thanks fellas.
Upodate on the fundraising, managed to get it upto £960, a little short of the £1000. Thank you so much to the people that donated, it means an awful lot to me.

Re: TW Members. Introspection on an Epic scale.
Thanks.
No real update. Only day two, they're happy with how he's doing. Expected him to be far worse than he is, only side effect (so far) is that he seems more sleepy than normal.

Thanks gents. Transplant done. Just hope it works now. Excellent! So pleased that Freddie has been given what he needs. Could you give us a brief rundown on what is expected/hoped to happen over the next few weeks, when you have a moment please if that's ok? I'll be raising a glass to young Freddie...

Re: TW Members. Introspection on an Epic scale.
It's day zero....transplant day. It's still quite odd that some random person willingly underwent an operation to save another strangers life. This day is also down to Anthony Nolan, without them there would be no register/transplants/lives saved. I appreciate the time of year it is, but life threa...
